Kyo Aizawa's father is a basketball devotee but has been forced to quit playing his precious sport because of an injury. Instead of himself working his way up to the NBA, he feels that Kyo, his daughter should fulfill his dream. To give Kyo a good start in her career of basketball he enrolls her in Seishu High School which is known for two things: its extremely cute girls' uniforms and their boys' basketball team. Not only does unhappy Kyo have to pretend to be a boy during the day (the basketball team members all live at the school to boost the team spirit), she has to do it day and night. The super-star of the team, Chiharu Eniwa, may be a good-looking, basketball champion, but his attitude towards Kyo is hostile from their very first meeting. Poor Kyo ends up roommates with the evil Chiharu. As they get to know one another, both sense that the other has a secret.

I read this manga around 12 years ago, and read it repeatedly so many times. It was kind of healing me from sadness and loneliness. I don't remember the details now but it's funny whenever I remember it. Tbh, I hold it dear to my heart...

All about the comedy!
This is one of the first mangas I ever read, perhaps even the first. I loved it so much back then, and I love it just as much now. The plot might not be very advanced, not that much happens really, but it's just so funny! It's a real feel good and I can't help but burst out laughing every time I read it. If you like comedy romance, nothing dramatic and just tones of funny moments, I would very much recommend it. I at least will never get enough of it! XD
I like gender benders and I think this one in particular was ace, but I feel like it lacked something from a manga like Hana Yori Dango or OHSHC. Maybe it was the lack of true drama and not over-dramatic chapters or maybe it was because I kept forgetting that Kyo was a girl, so much so that I was almost disappointed when everyone found out. Sad, huh?
It was incredibly funny, didn't get much enjoyment out of the romance, but I liked the plot. I've read it twice now, but I do not think I will revisit again. It is not that memorable, but a good first read.
SO FUNNY!!! The comedy just leaves me laughing so much my throat hurts and tears almost coming out of my eyes! Funniest manga i have ever read so far! Its not just the comedy.... its the trust, distrust and friendship which makes this a bit of a unique manga in my opinion.
I liked this manga...it was funny, the girl was cool. Well, the art could've been better...but I liked the general chemistry of the main couple- although the male lead too much of a jerk over his pride. This manga had some likeable characters, and the plot...well it was more like an episodic series, until further in the manga.
One of the first mangas I ever read, I can't really remember much but I do remember the guy was a complete Dick, and he didn't treat the girl like a girl even after he fiund out which I really didn't like, its a good starter anime though, so give it a try.
hilarious, yet lacking motivation.
One of the most hilarious mangas I've ever read. Though the end leaves you hanging and thinking "Well, this is just leaving things unfinished." I loved every single one of the characters, but I wanted to see more about all of them and have them develop more. This series had a lot of potential, but it seems that the mangaka couldn't decide on what route to take with it so she just ran around with no concrete objective. Still, it's one of the few that I still occasionally like to look back on.
Laugh out Loud
This manga had me laughing out loud like crazy. This contains wacky and over the top humor. I loved the manga for the most part, and it reminded me of Hana Kimi. However, as I've noticed with this author's works, the later chapters start to get really messy,cliche...and just plain strange. The plot became strange and over the top like the humor. Very unrealistic.. But for the most part i enjoyed this manga. Its great if you're looking for a comedy, because i feel that comedy was the main focus of this manga.

Absurdity that cracks you up
My number one comedy.
Though while I read it I kept thinking "moar romance!! you slow idiots!", afterwards the impression I was left with was that, what the hell, I've never laughed with a manga asmuch as I laughed with Power. Seriously. I still laugh out loud when I remember certain scenes. Ahahaha... oh man. The plot wasn't even that good, such a hackneyed gender bender! but who cares!
You might find this rating outrageously overestimated, and I admit in some way I was affected by my surroundings at the time of reading it, which now make me remember it fondly. But aren't we all? from one's overall situation, to the moment's mood, to the friends you shared it with and the music you were listening to. Isn't that the best part, and the best way?
decent read, crappy ending
I enjoyed this manga in the start. Maybe not very original but it was still a good read. But then in the end it just got out of hand. Tbh I actually I skipped reading during the last game and just went to the point where it was over to continue reading. A REALLY bad ending
