I disagree with the other reviews. it's a comedy, it can't be taken so seriously, just enjoy. I found it quite funny and entertaining.Yes the rape scene is typical, most YAOI mangas have one >.> but somehow I found it hard to dislike the seme, he's just such an idiot in an endearing way XD The art is different, I don't dislike it, but in some parts it did look a bit weird and somehow the seme sometimes reminded me of Lou Diamond Phillips XD

The plot was weak. Characters are stereotyped and have unoriginal background (actually the seme's background isn't even mentioned.) - uke so freaking angst.
It was a complete waste of time. The cover art looked pretty. The inside sucks.
It felt like a rushed work. Maybe the mangaka needed a bit of extra cash. Only those supposedly "DOKI!" scenes had good art. A lot of panels that were more important (they explained plot) had disproportional bodies. AND the chibis were ugly. Not cute at all. In fact, a bit irritating.

You know what? Keep the front cover as eye candy. That's all there is to keep.

I was expecting more in all honesty D: but i did enjoy it all the same, i just think it had much much more potential. The characters aren't bad but they both could have used more back story (one more so than the other), also the story is a little bit weak. It has its moments, but it feels somewhat anti climactic at the end and it was also quite predictable. That said, the art is nice, there are some really cute scenes and the personalities of the characters clash in funny ways. Im giving this a 7, i just wish there was a continuation of this story.

This one was pretty weak. The plot was super shallow and the characterization was flimsy as well. I can get past those things if a work has amazing art. Unfortunately in this case, the art was very rough. Proportions were way offf and it was so awkward looking at times that I couldn't decipher what was going on from panel to panel. In short, this just wasn't good. There's much better BL out there. I suggest leaving this one on the shelf and seeking out something else.

There was something very dissatisfying about this manga. There's nothing really admirable about the seme - he's just a deadbeat loser who doesn't seem to have any drive at all. The uke's attraction to him is explained away with some BS excuse about how he finally had a place he could call home. Their whole relationships and every interaction is so forced that it's kind of like watching two very crappy actors trying to do a romantic scene together.

And then there was the rape scene. It was just so freaking typical. Uke does something to upset the seme, seme rapes him. Only this time the seme doesn't seem to be really contrite about his actions. It was as if it didn't even occur to him just how serious his actions were. The mangaka unapologetically turns her laidback, cheerful, deadbeat seme into a rapist and there's absolutely no retribution. We weren't even allowed to feel sympathy for the uke, because what should have been a traumatic situation was just waved away.

I could go on and on about how much this manga bothered me. The plot had no real conflict, the characters were uninteresting and typical, the art was mediocre. My final words: This was BORING, and a waste of my time. At the same time, I'm always a huge proponent of forming your own opinions. However, I wouldn't recommend this if you can't stand ridiculously insipid characters, a weak plot, and utter dismissal of rape.
