Description

Apart from the fact he's in the student council and has quite strange tastes, Shima is an average, low-profile, quiet high schooler. Therefore, he doesn't understand why Ryuunosuke, a sports student, always glares at him every time they cross paths. Shima doesn't want to draw the punk's attention, but the instinctive hostility of Ryuunosuke towards him troubles him, and he wants to know why the other boy hates him!

This is one of the best work by Yukue Moegi-sensei. A fluff romance comedy between a member of the student council and the cool delinquent. I like the art style by this mangaka as well. The spin-off manga "Ore wa Busamen - Neko Tsudzuri" is also a must read! And if you love similar theme such as delinquents and cats, i would also recommend "Kasenshiki Romeo and Juliet Kousou Kyoku" by Tobi Washio-sensei.

ryuunosuke is so cute hes shy and sorta a tsundere and the fact that the top is shima makes it even better. they have such a healthy relationship imo where they communicate openly

Volume 3

I really like this series (I always skip the janitor story when I reread it).
I recently found the 3rd volume and started reading it but I'm a little thrown off because of the change in drawing. I mean, Shima looks like a completely different person! Now he's cute? Round cutesy eyes? He even looks younger! Smh
I haven't read enough to know if I like this latest volume but it's really confusing to read now.

Great story! Great characters! Shima and Ryunosuke are both so refreshing—they're both direct and honest, which is such a relief in this genre. My only complaint is that their physical relationship goes from zero to sixty in an instant. I would have enjoyed a little more ramping up to that point, even just a few pages. I know they're teenage boys, but damn, breathe a minute. But it leaves the focus on their relationship, not the sex, which I'm ultimately grateful for.

After the first episode, which was kinda cute, the story pretty fast became a comedy, sadly. I think it would've had more potential. I really liked the art style tho, which is kinda simple but delivers everything needed.

Confused about the janitor part

in the other reviews because I didn't see it. Turns out it's not included in the manga site I was using. Anyway you could skip that part because it's an extra story and you might dislike it. It's chapter 6. I said EXTRA because the characters in that chapter don't seem to be affiliated with the main leads unlike in the second volume, the additional story is a side story of the main's friend.

Anyway, the story is enjoyable and cute. Good read~

Was definitely my favorite. Volume 2...umm rapey/straight up rape? Unless I completely misread that. But I loved volume 1 nonetheless. Sex happened a little quickly, but their romance still didn't seem unnatural and both characters were likable as individuals with the delinquent being the most interesting. Volume 1 also made me laugh aloud a number of times. I wish the story was continued I need more mangas like this! If you know of anymore let me know!

Peaked at volume 1

This series was quite a fun ride for the most part, and I love the diversity of the cast - there is a number of solid characters there. But the end of volume 1 feels like a conclusion to the story more so than volume 2 does, so now I'm left craving for that little bit of closure, or at least a climax, that is usually expected to come at the end of a series rather than at dead middle like what happened here. The hype I initially got while reading volume 1 never came back to me through the entirety of its succeeding volume unfortunately. Oh well, at least I had fun while it lasted, I guess. (this sentiment excludes the oneshot in volume 1 though; that one is problematic af)

This is one of the better yaoi volumes out there. I love it when a character grows and changes in ways that make sense. Definitely give this one a try - the main story is pretty cute.
