Blacksmith Cornelia Bloom finds a mysterious man on the beach...
Oneshot (Complete)

The story is about Cornelia Bloom, a young woman who's inherited her grandfather's blacksmith shop. However, as a woman, her weapons are not trusted. As Lantis put it, nobody wants to trust their life to a weapon made by such flimsy arms. As she does her best to make-do, she discovers a young man, Lucido, washed up on the shore of the beach. After taking him back to her home to recover, she begins to wonder about her mysterious yet frankly honest guest. The story unfolds as secrets come to light and Cornelia must choose what to believe. The question throughout the story is, will Cornelia follow her heart or subject herself to what she's been told is her fate (an unsuccessful life as a blacksmith).
Okay, so I must admit, this one was playful and fun. Although the topics touched on could easily have been more serious had the length of the story allowed full development. But, come on, it's a One Shot--what do you expect? The art was quite beautiful and attractive. The story was simple, to the point, but still retained a certain element for captivation. I loved it. Only 40 pages, so I'd recommend it.
