This isn't the best shoujo manga I've read, but it's not the worst. The beginning was very interesting, and then when it hit around chapter 40... I started to lose interest until chapter 65 or so. During that time it started to get stuck a little bit, and the story didn't quite progress as it needed to. It emphasized the struggle, but pushed several chapters beyond what it should have. Also, I tend to like a strong female character-- which Himari was sometimes. Other times, her reactions left me wishing for more. All in all great art, cute story, and handsome male lead!
P.S. - I get really irritated by reviews that say "no different from other shoujo manga" or "common characters." Honestly. You're reading a shoujo romance. That's what this genre involves. Shoujo and Romance. There are only so many personalities, so many story backgrounds, and so many scenarios whereas there are thousands of manga. You're going to get repeats. You're going to get certain personalities or situations that annoy you-- but either A.) get over it, or B.) read a different shoujo romance, or C.) start reading a different genre. These types of reviews do NOT help other users differentiate or choose which manga they should read.
No manga in this genre has succeeded in making me so annoyed with all the three most common characters: female lead, male lead and second male lead. Oh, dear... It's not that rotten to be dropped (art is cute and... well, that's it) but it is definitely irritating all the way through. sigh If you squint your eyes real good, you might even see some character depth and progress in the storyline, between all the tropes. Trop bien, recommending it. 😁
EDIT: dropped it. Dropped it all the way to the hell.
but talk about drama and i wish for unspoken feeling to be brought to light as well as a healthy love between keita and himari. Exs and ex love should remain that way instead of forcing their way back in to someones life at least in this manga it's just complicates everything. I can't stand some of the girls that are aiming for him and i can't stand some of the guys that like her for example her ex crush i think he was kind at first but now obsessive much. So all in all i wish for the them to end up to together and fast. No blood relation no problem and both like each other. I also wish for the new love rivals to just buzz off they always mess up the love with their shitty obsession of what is right it's like, they should just shut it already b/c you like someone doesn't give you right to mess up their love life that doesn't have you in it. Just wait and see if they would break up or find someone else,

That Aikawa Saki doesn't royally screw this one up. If she could build it up nice and well, this triangle we have going on with some interesting stepbrother-complex type situation and throw in some good humour in there, she'll have atoned for all her previous titles!
PS Oogami's hairstyle is sex-alicious! Also his oomph attitude gets a bit on my nerves, but I know that's what 16 year old heartbreakers are often like, and the girls just come swarming!
PPS Chibi Manga scanlators, editors, typesetters, QC-ers and translators, you people rock!!! Now please scanlate this series a bit quicker T_T
EDIT after chapter 7: Jeez, does anything actually HAPPEN in this manga? Seriously, all the drawn out monologues and same old cliches over and over again are beginning to rub me raw.
hmmm the manga is ok .. but its no different from other shoujo manga , and the girl said she she's afraid of men :l and scared o her brother too !! but it doesn't sound like it ? anyway didn't like it much
The main female is plain, and reacts to things like any other girl probably would. The situation she's in is so incredibly coincidental and impossible, so it passes as a shoujo manga. The art is typical modern shoujo, doesn't hurt my eyes. Depending on how the characters develop out, this could be a pretty good dramatic (but simple and peaceful) school life story.
It's the kind of story where students first meet and grow together. Or at least, that's what I'm hoping it'll be.
