I decided to complete this series because i'm procrastinating and I had read some of it ten years ago so thought maybe it was good. turns out I stopped reading because it was mid.
Most of the issues of the MC could be solved with better communication and trust with her spouse. OR characters interacting smarter with strangers rather than holding the idiot ball. So that's annoying.
Further there's a plot hole in that Mi-Hwa says early on in the series that she knows exactly what happened with Do-Hwang, and then towards the last ten chapters we find out she actually didn't know. I mean...wtf. That completely invalidates so much! It just doesn't make sense. Even with the final arc it could've been solved with carrying an extra cell-phone for better communication. But nope.
And it wasn't that funny. Had a couple laughs but..yeah.

Its a little bit like Gokusen. You have a strong female lead who can beat up the guys, trying to hide her background, it involves delinquents, gangs, comedy, etc. The main difference is that in Ms Angel she's a housewife with a kid and Gokusen it was a teacher. Gokusen could get a little repetitive at times and Ms Angel also has the tendency to do that as well. Gokusen started off rough, but its humor just got better and better the longer it went on and I'm hoping the same will happen with Ms Angel. That's my main complaint is that the humor isn't quite that polished yet for me and can be a little ho-hum. The second thing is I'm not too crazy about the art, maybe it will grow on me or change a little. For now, I'm giving it a 6 because I've read plenty of stuff with delinquents, gangs, former gang members, etc and this one is going to have to do something a little extra to stand out from the pack. I'm willing to give this a chance, if it gets better I'll knock it up some more points.
The first chapter was pretty lame, but when I got to the 2nd chapter I was cracking up.
Yeah you'll see some cliches here, but if you can get past those you'll find it's VERY funny and enjoyable!
