"The lonely and friendless MC, Molester Man, is mistaken as a stalker by Miss Understanding (Undie). After clearing up the misunderstanding (...), he meets and spends time with Miss Undie and her friends, Kansai and Loli Jugs (...). Molester Man seeks guidance from the strangers of 2ch, an online textboard, as his relationship between the three women develops. Much of the story is narrated from the first-person perspective of Molester Man as if the reader was one of the members of 2ch, hence the name of the characters. This is different from the typical third-person perspective in manga and it helps readers understand Molester Man’s thoughts and feelings. There are some funny moments as well as quite a few references to other works, and the drama was pretty heavy towards the end. The art is sketchy and I sometimes found it difficult to tell the female characters apart. Perfect ending with a fun character popularity poll omake. Hooray for best girl!"

So Molester Man is one of those mangas I ignored for the longest time based on the name alone. I'm glad I gave in and read it though, because the story here was pretty well done without feeling too sappy.
Like my subject like says, one of the only complaints I have against this series is that there's just too many words. I know this was a 2chan thread first and all, but some pages especially early on are just absolutely covered in words. This wouldn't be so bad if there was a great need for so many words but most of the time these large blocks of text could be easily cut down or summarized. Another minor issue with this manga is that the female characters fell just a bit flat for me. Main love interest girl is the only one who seemed to have some depth to her and even then she came across to me as a girl written to be cool.
Minor points aside though this is a good read that won't take you forever. It has a nice ending, the main character isn't a complete idiot and I do find the romance genuinely touching. Certainly recommended.

The initial publicity for this manga came from the success of YOKO's previous work, Onani Master Kurosawa, a masterpiece of the doujin genre. But for some reason the hype continued. Molester Man features a shallow plot with a shallow premise and shallow characters. It is not terrible by any means, but it is not good. All of the manga hipsters who missed the initial popularity of OMK jumped on the opportunity to "discover this gem," and they began raving about it everywhere they could. The praise on manga-updates is a consequence of that.
So take the high ratings with a grain of salt. They are just hipster tears, a pathetic eulogy dedicated to missing out on one of the greatest works of art in this industry.

MC is just another entitled male trash. Couldn't make it past his disgusting personality.
Please die, MC.

And then he gets hard from hearing how she got severely stalked...? What the heck?

Can't believe some comment say its bad because it has to many word, well I guess that's why they only read manga, and there's one other say to many word but say they love word, talk about contradiction here.
Anyway this manga is good, the art kind of sloopy but lets face it the story was so good you forget about it and by the end you began to love its art.
Highly recommend for people who read manga, and novel.

I liked this manga... I pretty much believe it is true, at least it sounds more realistic than some biographies out there, and I really hope there is a guy who got lucky like that...

Also chapters 21 and 21.5 weirded me out a bit. It seems like Kansai is YOKO to me, but I suppose we will never know...

i dont mind wordy manga, for example mind game manga like one outs with lots of explanation of the strategy or scify like 200+1 ya monogatari that heavily peppered the panels with scientific jargons. i love reading - but only if its useful or have meaning. but here, there is too much words that is thinner than air - its panels after panels of momentary thought and text-speak and it really tire me out to read such mundane conversations.
i understand though why the rating is very high as it seems 'realistic' and very true to the source material or message thread. but to me every medium have different kind of presentation and whats best for one is not good for another. thus the inane conversations, if directly read in message board might be thrilling, but here they just deadened natural flow of a manga.
the characters, as it is taken from real life, have realistic quality to it with the mc reacting like normal horny young adult with a pretty good head on his shoulder. the girls are also good, so if you like good characterization, this manga will provide some for you.
the art is rough and unoriginal, but pretty and easily understandable. some people might not like the fact its just sketches but i think it lend a more 'realistic' feeling to it as if this is really hastily drawn by members of 2ch to celebrate the couple victory.
all in all, i like the mc, the plot is quite plodding, and you better off skipping some inane text. but it is a pretty good romance.

I really do love it
But to say, it is a true story? Well, to quote 4chan's /b/:
I guess no one will truly know, but I would surely like it to be true
(And some parts are so ridiculous, that it's hard to believe, that he just made it up ;p)

This is one of the funniest things I've read in awhile. And to think something of this level actually happened? That just makes everything all the better. No wonder everything had a realistic feel to it. ha ha ha.
