From Dazzling Scans:

Kitagawa Nami confesses to Yagami-kun, who asks her why she likes him. She reminds him of the time he gave her candy when they were riding the train to school. He scoffs at her reason and dismisses the confession, teasing her about the rejection at every chance he gets. However, Nami finds that Yagami-kun can be kind when he wants to be and that she may be starting to change his mind...

Pretty Cute

It was alright. I thought it was cute, but I've been reading really heavy mangas lately so it was a very nice, light break. I'd recommend it. The art is gorgeous and the shy smile at the end made me happy.

Gosh, I really liked this one. It was short and sweet and cute--not the best story I've ever ready, but a story I'm glad I stumbled upon. I recommend this story for people fans of the rejection, attitude-different-than-first-assumed genre, but they don't like things to get too dramatic.

(Why are there so many tags? Jeez, this story isn't that long...)

I guess if you break up a one shot into three tiny chapters

... this is what you get. Pacing seems slow and relaxed in this possibly due to that breakup. Art is not necessarily average, just the style is a little abstract and not super sharp. It depicted a different kind of feel. More malleable, ethereal...

Characters were interesting and realistic, settings were cute and novel, but a forgettable read at the end of the day.

It really is a great short story, that keeps you wanting to read more. The characters are well paired (I don't know but I really drawn into this stuff). The setting blends well with the situation and I specially like the ending. For me, its sweet and cute love story that you can relate to the scenario they are in. The Art is really lovely, because of this I likely to read more of Watanabe Kana works.

Simple & charming.

The storyline is somewhat simple, BUT actually that's in my eyes the charming point - Aside from the edgy and yet pretty drawing style. The characters are not overdone, just like the happenings and conclusion. It's kind of like an every day story and that's, what makes it likeable. The whole setting isn't new, yet it's told in a quiet and charming way.

To sum it up, it's a nice read and although the development is predictable, the atmosphere is matching the theme and so does the length. It's just right to read in between. ^^

Good Art, Average Story

In my honest opinion I didn't enjoy this manga too much. The protagonist got on my nerves a bit. I would say she's a typical sort of air headed girl who is naive and clumsy, etc. etc. I typically don't mind that because I find in most mangas that the protagonists are endearing...but not in this manga for whatever reason. It wasn't particularly sweet or anything either. I would say read if you're bored, but skip if you want something more than to pass the boredom.

And the art is right up my alley. Reminds me a bit of WATANABE Kana's work.

Nothing extraordinary, but I like it because it's something all girls can relate to. Or at least I think a lot of girls will be able to relate to this! ^_^ It's great short story - any longer would have ruined it.
