The novelist Sakaguchi was troubled. When Sakaguchi took in a weak kitten, the high schooler Kazuya, who comes to the his house to visit the cat, suddenly confessed. Its very cute though it lacking in the story departement. The characters are likeable, its better than the ones similar to this type of slice of life bl, the sex scenes arent very intense.

With no special trait to any of the characters or events, this manga seems more like a display of the oldest tricks in the book, a series of very 'traditional' BL materials. Well considering the mangaka that is not really something of a surprise I suppose. I do have to point out how her artwork has improved though; the character designs are rather good, even if her style is a little too 'clean' for me. The one-shot is the only thing interesting out of the entire volume, reminds me of another story involving humanised objects in Hoshii Mono Zenbu. Too bad it didn't get much development and feels more like a filler thrown in to satisfy the requirement of pages for the book. Oh well.
I'm not finished with this yet, but so far I'm quite impressed. It's very cute, but most importantly, the characters break some of the cliche yaoi "plot" traps. For example, rather than dragging out and exaggerating the typical misunderstandings, the characters both try very hard to express themselves and to understand each other. They're very sweet and loving to each other, and the romance is mutual (no rape, abuse, etc).
I'd recommend it for anyone who'd enjoy a natural and romantic feel in the development of the main characters' relationship.
(There's still some cheesy stuff, though.)

I had higher hopes for the art but it was pretty mediocre. The story isn't anything special as well as the characters, but it's very enjoyable anyway, just because of how you get to follow them from before they get together and then further into their relationship. Authors usually stop their stories when they get together or just after so it's nice with these types every once in a while.
The plot is shallow, a little boring, characters are more than common, there's lack of sex, I was hoping for sth better but art is really good so if you want just some eye candy you can read it. Nothing special indeed. If you want some good neighbours story choose Sangen tonari no tooi hito
