From Viz: Leo Aoi looks like a crazy animal with wild eyes, and he goes berserk whenever he feels threatened and sees blood. That doesn't stop animal-lover Yuiko Kubozuka from befriending him, however. In fact, Yuiko is the only person Leo will listen to when he has one of his violent fits...

feel-good manga through and through
this is quite a 'cute' series and i love the relationship between yuiko and leo, this is by no means your typical shoujo manga, but it has just as many close moments and is very refreshing, recommended!

Interesting idea, but bland, especially the characters. Leo is.. kind of a wuss, so despite his harsh exterior he's just your regular nice guy. Yuiko is plain, but at least she's not your typical stupid/annoying/pathetic heroine, although she's nothing special.
More than anything though, it was cheesy... It was like the author took every cheesy line from every manga ever and crammed them all in here. The sappiness will make you cringe...
Overall, it was entertaining enough, but mediocre at best. All I can say is, thank god it was only two volumes.
just wow. it was... great, amazing, beautiful, funny, just... wow.............. *heart is still thumping quickly from reading it* i loved it. and not to mention leo is like... the sexiest manga dude i have ever seen. ever. and he looks a bit like L. =)
I completely love this book.... although it's a bit cliche but i really like Leo!!! He is so adorable.. There wasn't really a climax in this manga though (maybe a tiny bit at the accident part) but it is still a very enjoyable manga and i strongly recommend this. XD
Cliche, but very enjoyable
I like my shoujo mangas like this I think that Beast Master, although short and very cliche, is something worth reading because it's fun and enjoyable. The art is really good too. Leo's background is pretty meh, but Leo's so cute I'm willing to look pass that XD
"To protect ourselves and what we hold dear, we keep frightening beasts within ourselves." Leo makes me feel like some weird auntie who wants to feed a cute little kid sweets. XD

It's not perfect, but... decent and enjoyable.
Sure, the art's cute, bishounens aren't badly drawn, but this series does have its flaws. It falls into the cliche of, girl reforms guy, guy scary outside but kind and gentle in the inside ... and just the pacing/storyline/characters scream shoujo cliche. But overall, I enjoyed the story. And anyway, it's short, so what could I really expect out of it?
that's 100% pure crap!
what was that? how was i lured to read something like that it seems i was experiencing some fangirl's wet dream or something! i swear i won't read a shoujo ever again in my life (if it's not something like kare kano or a very well known series) that had absolutely no value! funny? yeah right! if u're a girl and u're used to find everything funny...and let's not talk about the plot...pure crap de la crap! that was such an awful waste of time...i should have quit it at ch.03 when i saw this doesn't have anything to give to me...too bad i read the whole thing...bleh i misinterpreted ur postive remarks about it. i couldn't tell they were some crazy fangirls' ramblings
LOOOOOL LOOOOL LOOOOOL I COULDN'T STOP LAUGHING!!>< Man'-the first day he went to the school, and showed up in the class, that was sooo frigin' funny!!!!!! i swear i cant stop laughing,i luv this manga, and the guys is soo cuute when he smiles and soo cool when he becomes the beast, and when the girl puts her arm in his mouth, that was mad cool,he was really bitting her, that was awesome=D niiiice greaaaat maaaanga!!><=DXDXDXD
I loved this manga! It was so cute and it actually surprised me how much I loved it. I highly recommend it!
I liked that although it was short, it never seemed rushed to me. Everything was neatly planned out, but it wasn't overwhelming.
