haha.. just now i've suddenly remembered this manga and came here to give it 10 instead of any other rating i have given it before, just to find out that i've already given it 10. What a peculiar story it was, strange and touching, romantic and delicate, giving the feeling of a poem *^^*

Easy things first: The Art
Low-mediocre at best. Objects are sometimes drawn good, faces and human expressions are bad.
Sometimes the mangaka don't draw face features at all, maybe because it was to difficult for her to draw
a face feature from a side angel or what ever. The drawn characters are static and the movement
is badly shown. The drawn action in the panels is not self-explanatory, you have read the text to understand
what you see (it is little annoying if you at first don't understand WHAT in hell you are seeing and reeding on
the one page and get a explanation not till the next page).

The story:
It's true the manga has a nice setting, a girl whit some serve psychological disorders. This girl need some
professional help by the way and not a play by amateurs like in the manga. She is definitely not "eccentric"
like someone has written. But let it be, it is a "must-be" setting for the story. The story enfolds around
some hard set like the main character fails in love for the girl whit serve psychological disorder, parents who
do nothing to help her (only worrying about what to do) and some more. What is really annoying is that the
biggest turning points in the story happens out of some god given coincidences. These coincidences had
no explanation in the story, they happen because the mangaka wanted the story to move faster(?) so
it could end in one volume or because the mangaka doesn't know how to make it better. What ever the
reason it leave a some what corny feeling of incompleteness.
The psychological part of showing the inner world of the girl is highly romanticised. And the psychoanalysis
aspect exists only as a cloud of some terminology widely thrown at some places in the manga. Or as some
sentence which stands alone because there is no conversation about them, only the proclamation of this "wisdom".
Well the end is corny too. Boy meet girl at the beginning of a manga, guess what is the ending.

So at the end i must say the mangaka tried to write a little more mature story and failed. Maybe she learned after this project how to draw better than at a amateur level, but i doubt it. IF you don't believe me and have to much time, read it. If otherwise, do not touch this manga.

i am not sure about the value to it psychologically; i was not looking into it, nor was i inclined to think i should... i just read it, and what i read was plain weird. not quirky. weird. maybe i read it at a bad time, or in the wrong mindset, but i didn't feel an ounce of anything towards any of the characters! except maybe pity at whatever was going on with the main character. it didn't even really explain why she thought what she did, or really what led her to become the way she did...

i don't know, this was a hit for so many people... so maybe i missed something? but i think this was a definite miss for me. i'll give it a little higher rating for its abnormality, which was a little refreshing, but it just did not interest me in the least bit.

Yeah, the girl is really annoying and a terrible heroine, i don't mind the occasional crazy character but she was just really annoying. I wanted to slap her. She gives off the vibe that she isn't really 'different' but just trying to be weird for attention.

I didn't understand whatever metaphors or allusions were put in there as im not a psychologist. I guess if you overlook the stupid main character there is a lot of symbolism but the author didn't put it in very well...i mean, it's overly obvious that its supposed to symbolize something and it gets annoying fast. The 'symbolism' didn't even go with the storyline it was completely out of left field.

Storywise this didn't go anywhere and i wouldnt reccomend it unless you like stories with a lot of allusions or something. artwise this was really pretty but plotwise it sucked. The whole thing made no sense. None of the characters made any sense.
