The way it is written draws you in. The writing is very realistic. That is why this story touches your heart. You enjoy it and want to keep on reading. The side characters compliment the story but for me the highlight was the dynamics between the two main characters, Hibiki and her sensei. I enjoyed the development of the story, their own characters and their romance.
I would love to read more romance stories written as delicately as this. There arent many of them and I believe there is a huge market for this kind of story. I love this as much as the manga Kiss (which also is about a girl infatuated with her teacher), and I can draw parallels between them as they are both very well written. The romance is steady, gradual and cultivated at a slow and gradual pace. Very nice, indeed!
Regarding the art, yes it is not that good. But because the story is beautiful I wasnt put off and still enjoyed the manga.

This title I turned down because of its artwork. For some reason I can't come to like it. Can't even say exactly what I don't like about it. It's too sketchy, esp. the eyes are not appealing at all. So empty. ;_; Esp. for emotional themed mangas I want art that does display it in subtle ways (like a snicker or a glimpse or a sigh etc.) as well and not only words that decribe the feelings.
Didn't like the artwork from the start and didn't come to like it after 12 chapters.
I don't mind the slow development and high-school setting clichés. It's actually sweet and nice and usually I like such light themes (like Switch my student x teacher fave from the shoujo genre) but no use to continue when I'm not enjoyed. A pity.
The first manga I drop because I can't cope with its art oO But I tried till the end of volume 2.
But since it has like 20 volumes I think it'll be a dragging one too - so maybe I'm not that disappointed that I gave up on it.
If you don't mind it then you'll get to read a nice and heart warming story. Nothing new but always nice to read every now and then

I was hesitant to pick this up at first since I'm not such a fan of this kinds of relationship, but since it was by Kawahara sensei, I thought why not? So I did and I'm glad I did. It's a refreshing series. The characters are awesome the lines are great, the interactions are fresh. Everything is really nice. It's a very cute shoujo manga that I am sure everyone will love.
Thank you

Yes, must thank fairyfly for picking this up. the last release left at a bad point lol.
Aside from the good story, I really found the artwork in this series interesting. It starts off almost like a black and white watercolor style, and as the series progresses, it evolves into the style that you see in Koukou Debut. I'll give it a 10/10 just for that alone.

THANK YOU, O Godly Ones, for continuing to work on this! Many thanks to Fairfyfly for finally giving us another release after Selene Scans dropped it nearly two years ago. The folks at Selene did a great job, but I'm glad that their good work didn't go to waste, and that Fairyfly know a worthy project when they see it.
Now for the actual review... I usually flinch away from teacher/student romances, because they're often badly done and unrealistic, but this one's a rare gem that doesn't magnify the necessary melodrama that comes with such a relationship, and keeps things very sweet and real. Heartache with a touch of realism and character development - just what the doctor ordered! (Or he would order it, anyway, if he knew what was good for me. )

Ah this is a great manga from beginning to end. I really enjoy sensei's work, but the art is a little dated. None the less it was still great, particularly when it shows the characters in chibis. This story sort of reminded me of the story "Kiss", so i recommend it highly.

I adore this manga, it's like a cool breeze.. the feeling it gave me while I read it. I wish some group would pick this up where it's left off because it's a very cute manga.. usually i'm not so much into student-teacher manga but this one is not cheesy at all
Great stuff

The story is nothing mind blowing. But I love it how the relationship develop slowly over time. I can't wait to read more.
Kazune's manga style is very intriguing and Sensei is no different. The story as well as the art is very cute and you'll love it if you're a fan of student/teacher relationship mangas. ^^
