Thought It Wasn't My Thing

I was absolutely wrong. I'm usually into things like Jiu Jiu or A Devil And Her Love Song but, the title of this caught my interest when i found it in the bookstore. I sat down and read the first volume there and i found it really interesting. I looked around and couldn't find it online at all so i decided to start collecting it and went back the next day to grab the second and third volume and i loved those to. This series just has something that people can connect with and it draws people into loving it. I'm going to grab the fourth and fifth volume soon because this will become one of the few series that im willing to collect.

To me, it's the type of manga that I would willingly spend my money on purchasing (since its licensed)! That's how wonderful I find this series! I thought that this manga had a good start so I bought the second volume. I was so hooked that I bought the third and fourth volume on the same day, the cashier seriously thought I was crazy but I really did that!

It deserves all the attention it can get and I really hope it will be turned into an anime cuz not only is the art pretty but the plot itself is amazing and the jokes are hilarious! Gotta give credit to the mangaka for making an 'evil' yet caring protagonist! XD
You gotta read it to get that joke though!

I'm glad Viz Media licensed it. I hope they won't drop it, because it's really good.

This shounen manga definitely got a spark and got my interest. I love these type of manga (and i suspect most of us do), where the protagonist goes on a self-discovery kind of journey, leaving his past behind him but never forgetting. Instead, using that past as a conviction to continue his journey and do what he does. Our main protagonist is really cool. He's laid-back, mysterious, smart. His attitude is fresh from the usual shounen manga.
I was immediately interested after chapter 1, where it's basically the reason why he starts his journey and we get a glimpse of what he can do, what his power is. and that reason intrigues me, and makes me wonder what can he do with that.
Anyways, this is good manga with a interesting plot. smile It is definitely good, with our protagonist being a smart guy, and he also have almost a cruel streak, especially when someone messes with him--he'll get back at that person, x) Not by killing or anything, cause that's not his style, smile But he gets back at that person. xD
Anyways, I've read up to volume 4 right now and it's been keeping my interest right now. The clean and sharp drawing is really appealing and the situations they get into are always intriguing. it makes one wonder how they will get out.

Ever since I learned about this series, I was willing to get my hands on it and read, and I was just excited when Viz manage to nab it.

After such a long wait, Itsuwaribito finally came out, and I'll admit, this is a different shounen manga compare to some I have read before.

Mixing history with action and adventure, as well as introducing an entirely different plot, this isn't the typical cliche shonen manga. Somehow, it's amazing that this is the few titles that actually has a linear plot to follow, instead of the usual.

Looking forward to the rest of the volumes in the future.
