From Go! Comi:
When her grandmother passes away, high-school student Kajitsu Toda suddenly finds two hot stepbrothers and an adorable little stepsister dropped in her lap! Kajitsu and her step-siblings have only one thing in common: they were all abandoned by their parents. Against the odds, they've pulled together to form a family without grown-ups. They don't want charity, they don't want pity... they just want their dignity!
Things are particularly tough for Kajitsu and her step-brother Natsu. As kids, they were as close as any true siblings. Now, reunited for the first time in seven years, they've grown as far apart as two people can be. Can they ever become friends again? And can two high school students living together, even as "siblings" ever escape scandal?

Let's slow down a bit...
This is one of great shoujo I've ever read. Brother-sister romance (well, they're not related by blood, actually), teacher-student, family conflicts are not new materials, but... somehow, this manga gave a nice feeling. It's very enjoyable reading it. It feels like, when you have a fast-pace life and then encountered this manga by chance, you would want to slow down a bit and simply enjoy the life. Well, that's the feeling it gave me. Others might have different opinion ^^ But I'm still giving it a 9/10. I don't give 10 easily, and though it's a great manga, IMHO, it's still not in the 10 area.
And, maybe I'm a minority, but my favorite character actually the oldest, Taro. He is so not perfect compare to other characters, which makes him feels perfect. And I'm grateful he has a nice ending.

I read other comments about how they preferred Kajitsu and the Sensei to be together. IMO, Kajitsu was not really in love with him. I think it's because she missed a father figure so much. However, she sort of confused on how to translate her feelings for Sensei, so mixed it up with romance. In the end, though she did not completely understand her true feelings for him, she realized that what she felt for him was way different from what she felt for Natsu. Although she cared about him so much, but when she opened her eyes in the morning, it was Natsu she wished to see.

I loved it
Spoiler (highlight to view)
I just found this manga today and thought "why not give it a try?". Once I started, I just couldn't stop reading it. I liked the reactions of the characters as well as the lessons it teaches. The last chapter just made me cry. Even though the story was meant to be about the love of the step siblings, I would have preferred her to stay with the sensei. I think he played a really important role throughout the story, and that relationship seemed much more real. The teacher fell for her, and so did her; I was truly wishing for the story to make a turn and have her choose the sensei instead of Natsu. Anyways, I'm giving it a 10 because I just loved the story, even though I was hoping for a different end.
Nice and cute but... empty feeling
The story felt really obvious already at the beginning. And as AvatarofBelle said, the characters reactions were often rather illogical. And sometimes rather odd and contradicting. The overall pace was a bit odd as well, felt a bit rushed or saturated. Everything is happening all at once but no one seems to really respond to it. Feels a bit.. empty.. Overall it's a pretty nice read though, but gives a kinda.. odd feeling.. almost unsatisfied.
Weak and illogical
It's difficult for me to describe what I disliked about this manga. The character reactions often felt illogical to me. Even though such and such character was supposed to have changed, it didn't feel like they actually had changed or learned anything. Very forgettable
I guess you could say this manga was okay. You see she starts off a depressed loser without any sense of direction, and in the end she ends up being a cheerful loser with no sense of direction. The character development was way to fast. She falls in love with her flirtatious sensai and lost forgotten half brother and not to mention the fact that her mother encourages it. The only thing the author got out of this novel was that the characters could express their true emotions, and that was enough encouragement for being able to get through the manga. 7/10 probably more if there wasn't any student-teacher brother sister relationship.
Heartwarming, funny or sad
Even though the synopsis is not that realistic, the realization and the flow of the story was indeed something that would make me wonder how I would react if I were in the characters position. I like the character development and the process they go through to come to certain conclusions because is somewhat realistic.
As far as the the story goes I think it would have been refreshing to see the heroine ending not with the seemingly hero of the story. I personally would've liked it better if she ended with the sensei. And if you think about it the teacher played a bigger role than Natsu. In any case the wide range of feelings that blend through the story are what life is about, which also happens to be the main theme of this manga, along with romance of course (^o^).
Oh well nice art, nice characters, nice story, lots of drama and emotions what else can I ask. Just give it a try.

Made me cry T_T
This is the manga that made me cry.... I loved the story though I'm quite sad for the teacher who loved her but I want her to end up with her love because they seem too pitiful to bottle up their true emotions for each other... I mean they love each other soo much that it really shows but they can let it show because of breaking the family... well I like the ending soo nice though I also would like if she chose the teacher hehehe ^-^
this one was actually pretty good it was nice, clean, and cute the characters were interesting and the art is cute nothing special but nothing to be ignored either
"I'll be sending letters from the depths of hell, so can I have your address?" I actually started choking I laughed so hard.. some scenes were unbearably cute and hilarious. a must read for it's sweetness and lessons. I think my favorite lesson would be when she realized she could still breath without him. Wow, but number one's love scenes with na-chan were really life-like. They got me profusely blushing.. XD The ending was all meaningful and stuff.. it got me feeling all sad that it was ending. But overall a great read. Hard to get bored with this series ^_^
I really liked this manga. It was refreshing. I kind of wanted the teacher and Kajitsu to be together, since they seemed like a more "fun" couple. The thing with Kajitsu and Natsu was a bit weird. I liked that they're together, but for some reason I found it a liiittttllle akward. . .but yeah. I just happened to notice this manga on a book shelf and after looking at it, I couldn't put it down. It's like real life, with the twists and turns. I just really loved this. The characters are awesome. They progress with the story, growing mature and kind of more cooler. Okay, that doesn't make sense. . .but anyways, I loved it. Giving it 9.8 cause of the ending. Bit fast there.
