Description
Sana Kurata, a child actress, faces many problems in her classroom, including a major one - her bullying classmate, Akito Hayama. Sana's outgoing and friendly nature leads her to work towards correcting all of the problems around her. Her 'meddling' irritates Hayama but at the same time captivates him, just as Hayama's gloomy nature irritates Sana and compels her to change him. As these two opposites attract each other, they face many hardships which bring them closer to a mutual understanding.

Amazing!

Not many manga get me to laugh, but Kodomo no Omocha really just seems to hit my funny bone constantly through every single chapter. I'm happy I was recommended this title, because I had started it several years ago from a few volumes they had at my local library. I was a kid then, but I still enjoyed the series. I'm struck with awe and shock that I was able to run into it again (thanks to StarlightDream!). At least this time I knew about online sources on where I could read the entire series!

One of the letdowns I had with the series was that a lot of the pages missed translations. It seemed to occur in every single chapter. But that's not the author's fault. I read it off of OneManga, so I highly recommend you find a different source to read this series.

Easily one of the best mangas that I have read. I laughed, I cried, and Kodocha now holds a precious place in my heart.

Simply amazing. I read this when I was in fifth grade and I fell in love with it. Actually, I have a collection of it xD all 10 volumes, baby ! It's a great coming of age manga. It gets you laughing like an idiot and then cries like a baby. At least, for me it did. It has a great touch on real life as well. I don't know what else to say about this manga other than I simply loved it. One of my top favorites (:

This is a really nice manga. It shows you about life, and is really in-depth. It also captures how Sana goes from a child to a more mature person, and some issues people face in life. There's also a lot of comedy in this to go with the serious parts, and romance too. This is really a nice slice-of-life story that you can read over and over again.

Man am I tired, I read it all till 7 AM. The characters are likable and the main characters are hilarious together. It did start to lose a little bit of steam near the end but at least it finished decently. The ending doesn't suck at least. I don't usually read shoujo mangas(I'm trying to read more though but it's usually hit and miss) but this one is really good.

This was THE most AMAZING manga I've EVER saw!!!!! I loved the plot!!! It hooked me up to finish this story without skipping pages! I think this was just AMAZING! Even though they're young, I think it was perfect! If they were high schoolers, it wouldn't have the speciality of it! I would've been like, ' Oh, just another OVER DRAMATIC shoujo...'. But it was just simply... WOW!

This manga was like syrup on pancakes, very sweet and filling. There is something to be said about a writer capturing the essence of first love in such a tempting tale. The art was very appealing and fun too!

There are average shoujos and then there are addicting shoujos. This one belongs in the latter. It's surprisingly addictive. The art, I have to admit, didn't attract me too much in the beginning, but once I got into the storyline, I really got into it.
It feels like a cliche, just a tad, but if it is one, then it's one that's really well done. By the end of it, you, as the reader, really get to "know" the characters well.

This was a decent shoujo..i had tears and laughter throughout. I actually read all 10 volumes in one sitting..thats how much it kept me into it.

One of the best shoujo out there in my opinion..I give it a 9 just b/c they were too young and I usually like my shoujo with SOME sex appeal lawl.

I just loved the way that the characters develop and whenever I'm reading I would either burst out laughing or start tearing up. I find Hayama super cool because his love for Sana is everlasting!!!
Absolute 10!!!

*extra info- I have the same birthday as Sana!

this manga is amazing! this is one of the two manga series i cried for [the other one was absolute boyfriend]. it made me laugh so much and some parts were really cute too.
the only reason i took a half point off for this was because the characters were way too young. it would've been more "realistic" if they were at least in high school.

but still, great series!
