Hayato Tachibana is a 27 year-old assistant at Cosmos University who pursues his research on global warming in his spare time. One night, upon getting stumped while writing his thesis, he notices the stack of Real Maid boxes that have been sitting dormant in his room for over half a year. On a whim, he examines the parts contained in one of the boxes, and decides to put them together. Several clicks and whirrs later, a Real Maid stands completed before his eyes... So begins the tale of the peculiar and fantasy-filled life of Hayato and Moe!
