Deep and well conducted

I didn't expect a deep story but it actually tackles grief, depression, bullying, and many heavy topics related to mental issues and trauma, and it tackles it very smoothly, not to darkly not to lightly either.
This is a relatable process of overcoming past trauma and how far friends can help (but also the extent where you have to work it out yourself)
The whole thing is very well written, but trigger heavy.

I found this story by chance because I was already reading another comic from the same author/artist. I really like their artwork it’s so beautiful. I don’t even know where to begin with this the story - it was so much deeper than I anticipated and told so well.

I love the ending. I think what I like most about it is how realistic it was (I really don’t want to spoil it for anybody who’s reading this review). I highly recommend it the story, however it is triggering if you have ever experienced depression, thoughts of self harm, or thoughts of suicide so please be mindful and take care of yourself while reading.

Being someone who has experience some of these thoughts myself I found I had to pace myself while reading some of the chapters. Although I did find myself slightly triggered by the subject matter personally it’s always comforting to me that others have had similar experiences that I have and they’ve made it through been OK.

A heavy manhwa

The story is handled wonderfully, very realistic and respectful of people who deal with depression.

The story follows to men who deal with depression due to circumstances in their lives, and the journey they go through together to heal from the wounds. It has painful moments, scenes of violence and self harm, as well as detailed backstories which give you insight into why they are unwell and how it relates to their current situation. This manhwa may be too much for people who deal with depression or have experience with some of the events the characters face, so I recommend it very cautiously because the level of realism is exceptionally high. Without giving too much away, I will say that I enjoyed the growth of the characters, and love the ending.

Second half saved the whole story.

I was not expecting this webtoon to get that deep because it felt like the story had no direction for the whole first season. Its good that everything started unfolding in the second season and it all started to make sense. I had an off feeling about Hanbit putting two mentally unstable people alone together.. but he ended up having his own personal issues for doing that (even though that doesn’t justify what he did).. In any case its a relief that everyone turned out ok. Also, I liked that the ending wasn’t rushed and that the characters weren’t finished off with perfect endings. It was a lot more realistic for them to show the characters still struggling at times to be better. I really enjoyed reading this.

This tackles so many heavy topics like depression and grief in a realistic and relatable way. Plot, character arcs, pacing, storytelling, art - all of it was brilliantly done.

Don't read this if suicide and self-harm are triggering subjects for you.
