A young tanuki aims to become a reliable man! The birth of Tanuki's Gokudo!
The "Tanuki Rengou Souzan Onida-gumi" - a.k.a. "Gokutanu" - is a family of raccoon dogs that can transform into human beings.
Goro is the only human in Gokutanu who has exchanged sake with them.
Goro becomes a teacher for the heir to the Gokutanu clan, Butterbur.
Butterbur is a mixed blood between a human and a tanuki.
Normally, he spends his time with his ears and tail still attached, and is still an unreliable child, unable to transform into a full-blown human or tanuki.
However, when he is in a pinch, he will help his favorite Gorou-san! he transforms into a reliable adult form!
