An anthology on women's issues in modern-day China, dealing with topics like abortion, unwanted pregnancy, the disillusionment that comes with growing up, etc.
1 Volume (Complete)

This anthology contains possibly my favourite one shot of all time; Apple Baby Cat. It presents the issue of anorexia and body image in a bright, colourful, seemingly lighthearted tone laced with irony, satire, and surprisingly deep and thoughtful symbolism. It made me think about what we really want: to be healthy or to be perceived as being healthy?
I think this anthology can be likened to poetry, presenting symbolic ideas that really inspire thought, except all are quite easy to understand due to the visual rather than written symbolism. Something to read if you have a couple of minutes of free time and would like to be left thinking throughout the day.
I'd rate the other one shots from 7-8, but overall I'm giving it 10 since I think it's quite a bit underrated.
