Hayato is severely emotionally damaged and Kazunari is essentially dragged down with him.

The issues stemming from Hayato's self-destructive behavior never really get resolved. Honestly, I silently celebrated when Kazunari suggested breaking up lol… Anyway, I appreciate the moments where Kazunari urges Hayato to open up about his issues instead of just resorting to sex. It's a shame that that part of Kazunari got lost by the last chapter, considering that they have sex in the middle of a serious argument + literally right after Hayato was aggressively assaulted and almost raped.

Maybe it was just too much angst for my liking,

but continuing the toxic ex plot line (and amplifying it) was not necessary at all IMO, especially since it only added to Hayato's trauma.

If there's a third installment, hopefully it will be more mellow to contrast the previous volumes and develop the MCs + their relationship more appropriately.

Hayato is a fckin sshole. He was secretly dating his big brother's boyfriend and wanted his big brother's boyfriend to himself like he was dating him first. Hayato thought Oniisan Urabe loved him more and wanted Oniisan Urabe to break up with his Oniisan to make their relationship official and not hidden away. Hayato acts like he's the one that has been betrayed and the only one that's emotionally hurt about what happened?! You're not the victim here, your big brother is! Hayato has the audacity to say that he lost HIS lover. (Wtf?!!! He was your big brother's fckin lover not yours, dumbss!!! That entitled little jckss). In actuality little brat that lover was never yours to begin with. Why couldn't you find a boy that wasn't taken and was your age, you little wh*r3. Hayato and Oniisan Urabe are acting like they're the victims and they blame the other or Hayato's Oniisan himself for what happened but only they're to blame. It's hard to sympathize with a entitled, horndog, crybaby, man-stealing sshole like Hayato. Hayato went to see big brother Urabe because Hayato wanted big brother Urabe to apologize to him but Hayato doesn’t deserve it because he knew that big brother Urabe was dating someone already but Hayato being the dumbss brat he is kept dating him despite that. Hayato and big brother Urabe ruined their own lives and they should deal with the consequences of their actions. the only person that deserves a apology is Hayato’s big brother. Back then, i thought never in my life would that be of concern to me". It did eventually become a huge concern in your life Hayato when you started having a crush on your big brother's boyfriend, you asshole. Hayato says that compared to Urabe's big brother he's basically an angel but that's hilariously wrong. Hayato and Urabe's brother are equally terrible people for what they did. Hayato said that him and his Oniisan weren't close and that he doesn't give a damn about what his Oniisan is doing in his life but he cared enough to pry into his Oniisan's love life, befriended his Oniisan's boyfriend, fell in love with his Oniisan's boyfriend, and then had a affair with his Oniisan's boyfriend. He couldn't stay true to his word?! Hayato was crying about how much pain he is in, his life is terrible, and nobody understands what he has been through but Hayato is the one that caused all of his misfortune in his life lol what an idiot. Sorry, for the foul rant i did about vol 1 and 2 of this manga, i just hate cheaters and man stealing horndogs. I hope there is more to come because i want to know more about Hayato's big brother.
