Description

Sangun, the tiger lord of Baek Mountain, was living a peaceful life until a young, white-haired girl named Choa visits his cave, claiming to be his bride. Sangun immediately realizes that Choa is a descendant of the White-blooded Demon Beast, a dangerous creature feared by all spirits and beasts. He tries to send her away for fear of the dangers she will bring, but changes his mind upon discovering that she has nowhere to go. If only the plot matched the art style...

The translation is not the best (at all at some point), the art is good but the pace is all over the place. At some point I thought that there were missing panels or even entire chapters because it seemed like whole chunks of the story were cut off. It's isekai, but aside from the first chapter when the novel reincarnation is mentioned, it barely even has a relevance to the story. Hence the very annoying feeling that you're skipping whole chapters where there were supposed to be explanations as to who is who, what is what and why the what is where.

Join the club. So were the rest of us, readers. I'm still trying to figure out where the hell the spear in the title is and who came up with that title when there is no damn spear anywhere, not in the manhwa and certainly not in the original title.

Not to even mention that none of the skills, magic, cultivation etc of any of the characters had even the most remote attempt to be explained, not even vaguely. Hell, I'm confused and this type of story is from a genre I've read hundreds of times before. The chapters just start with the protagonist just popping up in random places and somehow I'm supposed to know where those places are and what he wants to do there because he sure as hell ain't telling me. Around chapter 50 I just convinced myself that he's teleporting and left it at that.

Also, the harem vibes are strong in this one.

I'm a fan of historical action, and I've read about 50 chapters of this, and it's basically a harem. Lots of action, but it feels too boring. The character is not strong enough for an enemy -> another character helps him -> he beats the enemy and steals their items -> he levels up -> meets a stronger enemy -> rinse and repeat.

Also, the artist has same face syndrome (or whatever they call it). Sometimes I have a hard time telling apart the fox's female spirit and Sangun's female spirit because they look the same.

The story is supposed to be a 'reincarnation', but it is HARDLY mentioned after the first few episodes. After a certain point, you forget that MC is reincarnated and knows the story, until the MC is like "I know this from the novel...." and you get reminded that MC is supposed to know things.

They allude to the white-haired girl (Choa) being the female lead, but it's been 50 chapters and he still hasn't met her again. Idk why they would keep mentioning her when it doesn't seem like he'll meet her again soon. He is surrounded by other girls who are all interested in him and sometimes you forget that the female lead that the author is pushing is Choa, and not say the dark fox or their female spirits.

You start wonder why these things are forced into the story when it's not even relevant enough to be mentioned often/be the driving point of things. Sangun sometimes mentions Choa and has flashbacks but it doesn't seem like he's doing things for her/to meet her, even if he and his female spirit says so.

Idk, I wouldn't recommend this. It falls flat after a while. I keep reading and hoping things will pick up, but it's been 50 episodes and it's still the same.

Beatuful art, great beginning but...

It losses me after chapter 50, the event the skills the things they do is not explained, the main character just appears in places without any acknowledgment of travel. it's all over the place and it's sad because it had a pretty good start storywise.
