Strong Start, Horrible End

So, for about 80 percent of the series, I was absolutely in love with the story. For an isekai it has some interesting components.

[] Multiple individuals isekaied at different points and having major effects on the story.
[] A Writer brought in as a character, but not one that was pre-written as 'her'.
[*] Interesting dynamic/relationship shifts

However, I feel like the story relied too much on

[] Too much outside the grasp of the author (i.e. I didn't write about this)
[] Odd moral dilemmas (He isn't really my brother, but he gained intelligence, and then everyone was impressed so he rose above me)
[*] And sometimes forced situations/rough transitions in the story.

I loved the art, and while the ending was unexpected (even threw me off a bit - in a bad way). I would say it was a good read overall.

Fun to read despite the plot holes

There are so many plot holes and illogical/contradictory decisions and events, especially by the end holy cow. It was a huge mess. But I still really enjoyed it.

The sudden love triangle was hella unnecessary tho. Coulda left that out, there was enough other plot going on.

This is one of the more interesting Isekai novels I've read and it was one of the first too. One of the things that makes it different is that the FMC is isekai'd into her own novel, so she's directly responsible for the awful life the MMC has live through. I won't spoil anything for you, but if you want something interesting and relatively unique in the genre, try this out. I was terrified that I'd lost this one when 1stkissmanga deleted all accounts, so I'm glad I found it again!

I guess I gave this a good score because everything is fresh to me.

The concept was a good take as far as I have read Manhwas with similar plots. I'll explain below

Unique because Character is AWARE that he is a fictional character and all of them are adjusting to that fact that there's a god-author.
Then author can make herself OP so long as it does not alter rules of the world because not all of that world is her novel. Like the characters and events there have their own side of their story apart than what was written in the novel. There's more than meets the eye.

Though the novel she wrote was indeed the same trope as others but the overall concept of this story was new to me.

It's not a slow-burn because they liked each other at 35+ chaps already.

Also...THE MONSTERS WERE SO CUTE. THEY'RE LIKE DOGGOS.

Art is good. Execution is okay.

Like others have said, it starts off strong. I was so excited in the beginning with a smart, resourceful FL and a motivated ML who cares about people and his goals. But it quickly falls apart with an unnecessary love triangle and the ML only focuses on the FL.

Strong opening, from hype to only okay, decent ending

The beginning of the story had me extremely excited. The premise was extremely interesting and I thought the tension would be to die for. The Third Prince (ML) showed up and kidnapped a girl who was essentially both his god and devil. He suffered so much because of her, lost his honour, and was ready to claw his way back. He was even broken-hearted wondering why he had to be such a pathetic villain written in her book. Why couldn't he have been like the other characters to turn around their lives, find respect, obtain honour, and even love? The Author (FL) had an incredible power to control herself. Her power was quite OP and broken from the start.

There was so much potential in this story for the Third Prince (ML villain) to partner up with the author (his god/devil). However, instead of an action packed adventure it gradually turned into a romance with the ML becoming a weaksauce simp and the FL didn't even properly utilize her ridiculously strong powers. The story plot changed gears to something more mediocre and shoujo-like. The plot from that point on was only okay and the ending was okay.

Dammit. I don't mind it if MLs become a littly simmpy, but he lost the spicy villainy of his personality in the process. Why couldn't he just continue to be at least a little bit of an edgy badass instead of a lukewarm, stubborn tsundere. I'm ranting just a bit that the ML wasn't my type. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but the real problem is that the ML became a bit bland. Perhaps the ML is just a good guy ... which doesn't make my blood race.

Dammit. The female lead was very ... indecisive about her decisions and feelings. A very normal level FL. It would have been more interesting if the FL had a stronger strong point or quirk.

holy cow the second half of the story was like a chore to read, characters were boring, dialogue was boring, plot was boring. Everything the characters did was stupid, the story totally loses its charm half way in.

I adored the characters until they became stupid all of a sudden. Don’t read this unless you want to be annoyed

I agree that the premise was like a breath of fresh air. It was easy and fun to read, however, if you ever get to the last escape scene, you'll find yourself super frustrated.

Mini rant due to FL's many missed opportunities.

Kyte and Vasser are running for their lives, trying to escape back to her world, right? A swarm of castle guards and one crazy psycho is hunting them down while they're sitting in a room reminiscing about childhood memories... THE CLOCK IS TICKING, LADY. YOU EITHER MOVE IT OR LOSE IT. Next, the little monster finally managed to catch their attention and opened the portal to her world, but how the hell did they not secure the damn door beforehand? Guards storm in and injure the poor monster and the portal closes. She literally hesitated one too many times and caused the deaths of so many (and I get it, she can fix it when she returns to her world, but it was just so unnecessary).

Anyways, everything worked out fine in the end, and I was truly happy to see their happy ending. The one thing that always brought me joy was whenever they drew a different sketch of the little monster at the end of the chapter. It was a nice touch and was so absolutely adorable.
