Rape, cheating, murder

How are people liking this even in the least? Hero cheats repeatedly, then let's one of his side chicks verbally assault Akio, and then tries to kill him when Akio tries to cut him out of his life (oh, after raping him). This is horrible.

A collection of three short stories.
Each beautifully drawn and beautifully written.

Being short stories, the pacing had to be speed up at times or things had to start in Medias Res but entertaining nonetheless.

Each story had a unique Angst factor to it that waa very characteristic of Madarame Hiro

First story

I love it so much!!! It's been a while since I've read obsessive love manga like that, it usually ends up with the deme or the male partner being absolutely dominant about the other and that kind of story was getting kind of boring. What makes the story so good is the fact it has a different kind of seme and as usual, madarame-sensei is good at executing seme characters. Well I guess my taste is different from the early reviewers who openly dislike it lol. Don't get me wrong, I don't condone such behavior but it's a manga and its different from what most story contain so yeahh. Though I gues it doesn't really fit in this collection since the next 2 story are sane

Super Unlikable Characters

1st Couple) Umm... was that supposed to be sweet? Ryou is a mentally unstable philanderer and an obvious attempt at a yandere character. Just... without any dere. He was pretty much all crazy and him actually giving a shit about Akio definitely did not come through. It felt more like he just didn't want to give up his favorite toy, not that he actually held any love for poor (stupid) Akio.

And then the mangaka tries to give him a redemption arc? Like, I should sympathize with him because he feels bad about his previous actions and because his mommy and daddy don't love him enough??

Not to mention the whole Tae thing is insinuated to somehow be Akio's fault for not telling the crazy fucker that he loves him?? Yeah, no. I usually like the psychotic characters but this cardboard cutout crybaby of a yandere wannabe just made me feel bored with the whole thing.

2nd Couple) Meh. Harumi has had a crush on Toki, a dude who rides the elevator with him, for a while. After spotting him at a bar, Harumi approaches Toki with the offer of a one night stand. This being a yaoi oneshot, ofc Toki accepts. After some hemming and hawing they then get together. That's all folks.

3rd Couple) Actually the best story in this anthology. The seme is still an asshole cheater but Keito is nothing but upfront about his shortcomings making him both likable and detestable at once. On the plus side he's something of a rehabilitated cheater, if you will and it seems he genuinely cares for Naoki. Speaking of, Naoki didn't have much of a presence (he was asleep for, like, 90% of their story) as the plot mainly revolved around Keito's introspection into their relationship. Though what you do see of him makes him come off as the typical uke for this manga. Wimpy with no backbone.

Third story - My Lover

Told in an unconventional way about an established relationship. Different and introspective. It has sort of an open ending. Another chapter that gives us more resolution would have been nice.

The first story is super disgusting. There's brutal rape, attempted murder, and cheating. Nevertheless, the author tries to make this fluffy and cute. Absolutely reprehensible. The uke is a spineless turd and the seme is a spineless criminal turd.

The second story is so standard.

The third story I like. The seme is obviously hurting his partner, but he's realized that and is making an effort to change. The peseverance of the uke is cute and commendable.

Edit: changing my rating. Coming back to this a few years later, the third story really stands out. It's almost artistic, the way their story is told.

About first story.... No really!
I mostly agree with all these comments with low rating.
Ryou is obsessive hypocritical brainless disgusting crybaby..and I'm not exaggerating. And I feel sick just looking at him...and I really don't get Akio....

I'm rating this manga 6 because I really like second story and also quite the third one.

Even though I knew she does make her ukes really pathetic and lovesick, I can't help but love it because all the semes are charmed either way. They can't escape the miso ukes!!!! I even got tears. XD

Second story, cute. third story, nice. But first.... Mmmm that whats awkward. Although I felt some connection with real life events on it, its a little too much.

The rape on those circumstances I can understand, but why did he open up his lover arm like that! That was just crazy but in a way like: this shouldn't be on a manga or in any other place, you never know when someone is gonna try that becouse he/she read it!

Akio's friend at least the only sane person in the manga! (although I would have killed Ryou)

First Couple

The very first couple, and the whole entire plot for them are pretty jacked up, both the seme and the uke have their own problems and mental illness. If i were the uke, probably i would never meet the other dude again, but NO it did not turn out to be like that at all, it went to the totally OPPOSITE of it. It would have been waaayyy better as a horror/romance type of manga.
