Description
1-2) On the Quiet
On a cold winter day, when Ikewaki Kou, a college student, forgot his key and couldn't enter his apartment, he was invited into his neighbour, Shiraishi Hiroya's room. But the room was so dirty that there wasn't even space for him to put his foot down, and Kou was really shocked by this gap from his neighbour's orderly image. Even so, Kou remembers the steady palpitation of his heart as he conversed with the bashful and unaffected Shiraishi. Things got heated when Kou realised that Shiraishi might like his brother instead.

Nakatani is a nice guy... to everyone else in school. For some reason, he seems to hate Ikeuchi. What could be the reason? Ikeuchi finds himself drawn to Nakatani after seeing the sunlight turn his hair a beautiful color, along with an arousing desire to touch him.
"I always smile gently, because I'm scared of being shunned." Part two is told from Nakatani's point of view.
5-6) Unreasonable Baby
Sugimoto, from Tangerine Report, is back with his own story this time. He took his friends' gay relationship very well... but why? It turns out, he's had some experience himself... with his senpai Kotegawa.

Since I got some freetime, I started reading the works of TENZEN Momoko one after the other, because they left me with a good impression. That's why, unfortunately I have to say, this work is rather average and weak compared to the others. Sighs.
The drawing style is simple and shows room for improvement, but that's doesn't mean it's bad or something to be concerned about. If you like simple styles, then you might even think of it as pretty and interesting.
The stories included are meanwhime simple, too. The use the common settings, like the "neighbourhood-student-salaryman" relationship or the "high-school" first love plot. About the characters design is also nothing much to say, aside from a few interesting details and a few rather weak "phyisical interaction" scenes. Lol. Yes, they have been average and that's a bit sad, since I liked the other stories of the author, because of the well-developed relationships and also the well-placed (and mature executed) sex scenes.
Anyways, if you like the authors works or if there is some time to kill, then this can be a way to do so or feed your addiction, but there are plenty other (similar) stories out there.

The stories are quite nice and much tolerable compared to some of Tenzen Momoko's other works. However it was actually the last story that kept me attached to the manga, as surprising as that may sound. There was a bit of angst, a bit of fluff and lots of steam. Those are some of my favourite ingredients for a satisfying recipe. And the art is not too shabby, very Tenzen Momoko-esque. The other stories I read quite a long time ago thus am unfortunately unable to explicitly comment on. I do remember they're alright though.

It's a very nice collection of short stories. As always with sensei, they're quite classic stories but I never got bored or anything. The characters are well developed, more than in any average yaoi. The emotions are really well drawn, and the interactions between the characters feel natural, as if they were going with the flow. I think sensei specially knows how to draw doubt and all the attitudes/lines that come with, it's delicious to see them so flustered. >u<
Even if the stories are short, I was immediately brought in, their universe are well presented enough to feel as if you were reading it since a much longer time, and so I didn't see time go by.
It's true the last story is a bit less good than the others, but I still find it worth reading if you can not pay attention to the sudden change of heart of Sugimoto's senpai. I liked to see their back and forth before being able to completely love each other.
So this is really light and cute stories, but with enough depth so that your heart can flutter a bit. They don't give off the feeling they're any other fluffy stories with overused plot, making you feel like you've already read this a hundred times.

I actually thought this was good! I am not comparing it to Tenzen Momoko's other works, but to BL in general. These are not anything new, but I found them to be refreshingly non-absurd. Maybe they are cliche, but they manage to escape a lot of the things which make the cliches annoying. The relationships all developed in ways which real life relationships actually develop. The misunderstands they had were misunderstandings which people could actually have without being brain dead. They actually figured out these misunderstandings by *talking*, fancy that. The highschool boys who likely had little to no experience actually left it at fooling around and did not just randomly have sex in a classroom like it was totally natural.
So, even though this isn't some amazing classic for all time, it IS a rather cute little collection of stories which don't require a lot of eye rolling to get through. It certainly wouldn't make a normal person cry, but I can't say I felt nothing while reading it.

tenzen has cranked up the sex content; there's more graphic stuff than usual. and surprisingly (considering how much i like graphic, detailed sex), i rather wish it weren't so here. because while tenzen's stories usually have something special to them even if they use the same cliches as 99% of BL, these stories aren't all that distinctive, and the conversations during sex sounds like 50,000 other BL conversations. and they don't always fit with my image of the characters. maybe the editor demanded "make this one really BL"? no, honestly, you don't have to. so, ha, i'm actually wishing for less sex in future works.
that aside, these are too short for me to get attached to the characters. especially the third story doesn't have sufficient time for me to believe the feelings on the part of sugimoto's senpai; it gives the impression of being thrown together hastily.
i don't even think the art is as nice here as previously; everything feels just a little hurried.

There's 3 stories, the 2nd and the 3rd are linked. The art is nice, as Tenzen-sensei always make. The 2 first stories are really nice sweet and a little bit sour but not too much. On the other hand the 3rd is rushed, and lacks consistency and character depth. Rating is only for 1st and 2nd story.
great, except for.

i loved all the chapters except for the last chapter, i had loved the main character when i saw him in ch 3-4 but he ends up with
Spoiler (highlight to view)
a guy he was sleeping with for a year, and after a year he randomly moans his ex boyfriends name during sex with the main character. for that whole year he was thinking about the other guy, and then randomly he finds out he likes the main character. wth? it was such a forced ending. they should have separated for awhile and the main character maybe found a good guy, and maybe then itd be realistic if this guy realized his feelings.
