I put this off because of the cover (dark angsty mangas are not my cup of tea), but I gave it a try after all... boy, this was a wild ride, and I loved it♡ The BL feels natural (as any het romance in a shoujo) and it's really funny if you like slapstick comedy. All in all, one of my favourite mangas.

I like this type of character - honest and pure. It was also funny how could he easily go from some painful expression, when you just want to take him to the edge of the world, hug him and cry there together, to a foolish one and you start laughing. His lil bro at first was scary, but turned out quite a nice person in the end. It doesn't have furigana, so some things I was too lazy to translate, but I plan to re-read it one day ⸜(ّᶿധّᶿ)⸝

This title tries way too hard to be funny and it is more cringe-inducing than anything else. This is a very juvenile sense of humor that I couldn't get past the first chapter. The gag nature of BL 'tropes' comes off as a patriarchal aesthetic and the aggressive nature of the lead is basically assault. It's a shame as the uninterested crush could really be an interesting character.

At first I was drawn by the humorous situation and expected something cute, and then I was frustrated as it became a little confusing and unexpected. However, the next chapters lured me back in and I’m glad the ending was pretty satisfying.
Personally, I just love the prez so much, he’s supposed to be the funny character here but I ended up crying whenever he showed those painful facial expressions while saying heart-breaking lines. I’m impressed how sensei made me fall deeply in love with that character, which rarely happens as I don’t really have any bias in other mangas. It’s his resolve, sincerity and cuteness trying to win Nezaki’s affection that I find really loveable. ?

It's important to note that comedy here is the main genre and highlight, not BL. BL in this manga is just part and parcel, completely natural in this manga's setting - just the way I love it!

Anyway this is the best Rom-Coms I have ever read - especially for BL. I started reading this tentatively because of the mangaka but I found myself turning the pages without pause. It's just that enjoyable!

If you're expecting more sense and drama instead of pure and nonsensical gags, this isn't the manga for you.

THIS MANGA HAS A VERY CUTE STORY. And some of the faces the characters make crack me up. LMAO. It made me cry, so I think that it deserves at least an 8, or 7.9.

Everything was so perfect the art style and plot was so cool.
A masterpiece. I mean this didn't need to have uncensored scenes to be so great, this was amazing and I laughed so hard at first for the cover I was expecting something brutal like something really sad like always happen but this was unexpected but so great. I love it.

Hahahaha I totally didn't expect that !! The cover is sooooo misleading x)

Ahem. So truth is the story is rather shallow, but the humour here is good ^^ or at least for me (honestly some of their faces were priceless !)
Aside from that it was actually cute 🙂
I'll definitely read it again some time !

First of all, with that cover, I expected this manga to be a dark psychological piece of work, only to see the "gag" tag and go "? ? ?? ?? ?? ?" and then read that adgadfaldfkdf-ish material. What the ever loving frig. It's like a gay and sillier Ouran HSHC.
The rape joke was in poor taste, even if it was directed at himself.

The humour is... honestly too slapstick for me, but... XD It has its good moments.
Lenny, your c4 drawing almost made me // my pants.

His "serious confession" line with the roses that he planned to deliver made me weep. bwaa-aha!!

The ending was v cute. But I wanted him to use the thorn line so bad, oh man.
