First of all, with that cover, I expected this manga to be a dark psychological piece of work, only to see the "gag" tag and go "? ? ?? ?? ?? ?" and then read that adgadfaldfkdf-ish material. What the ever loving frig. It's like a gay and sillier Ouran HSHC.
The rape joke was in poor taste, even if it was directed at himself.

The humour is... honestly too slapstick for me, but... XD It has its good moments.
Lenny, your c4 drawing almost made me // my pants.

His "serious confession" line with the roses that he planned to deliver made me weep. bwaa-aha!!

The ending was v cute. But I wanted him to use the thorn line so bad, oh man.

To me it seemed too crazy and unrealistic to be a good shounen ai with deep character and relationship growth ... which is great if you like crazy humour! For me though I just found things too illogical and random at times... But sweet story nonetheless 🙂

I loved the cracky, parody bits of this manga. Yaoi-chin jokes were much appreciated 🙂
This was pretty refreshing for a BL manga, I think.
The art was very interesting as well. Pretty at certain times, and thankfully the mangaka doesn't suffer from same-face.

Looking forward to more stuff my this mangaka in the future.

An enjoyable manga with endearing characters and great story progression that will make you laugh and cry - what more could one ask for? If anything, I hope the side characters will also have their time to shine in the future; they all hold great potential for stories of their own. I love the cover art and designs for Nezaki; kinda reminds me of Hayakawa Nojiko-sensei. On the other hand, the mangaka's parodic illustrations of the typical 'white horse prince' are also very on point and funny. Overall just a very entertaining read for audience of all genres.

Such a refreshing manga in the way that it's BL comedy with more emphasis on the comedy than romantic. (I'm curious at how this series ends.) The various styles used are entertaining. All the characters grew on me after awhile. I rarely rate high but this entertains me so much.

[Edit]; Finished the book. I still really like this for the most part, though the only qualm I have is

Nezaki's romantic feelings for Mikado seem to be a bit of a jump when his feelings don't seem to be romantic until maybe end of ch 5. By the time I reached the end, I thought, 'whoa Nezaki. When did you like him romantically that much? You're ready for the next step already??'

Omg he is fucking funny
It's been agesss I laughed so hard reading a character behavior 😂 + he is adorable too and try his best in everything he touch.
He is seriously the best , it's so hard to make me laugh this much with just one chapter, he make this manga so good , 9/10 just for him and his silliness and how genius author is for her comic timing, hats off 👏

It's funny but as a BL it's a bit lacking. There's not too much buildup romantically and I actually hoped that Nezaki would

end up with Mikado's brother, but sadly he ends up with Mikado instead

because the author went and gave the reader a lot of backstory for the brother. Mikado is a little too obnoxious at times but it's pretty funny, even if the romance angle seemed to come out of nowhere for Nezaki

Probably, one of the best Shounen Ai I've ever read. A very unique manga. Shounen ai with a Shounen atmosphere. It actually has character development and depth to its story rather than repeated sex scene like most gay manga. A very innocent and cute manga. Probably won't recommend it to straight people. This will turn you gay a little. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
