Jsyk. This has no Incest in it
The character just calls her brother because they grew up with her and took care of her.
The romantic pacing is quite quick without much character development, and I sort of need to know the characters in order to get that sort of doki doki feeling from a manga. Still cute, great art, but the gender bender "boy" just looks like a girl. She doesn't come off as a guy at all. She acts feminine, even outside of her dancing as you will see. Read for the art, not as much for the plot imo.
I can really respect a title/series where the author and artist aren't the same person. It just means both people recognise their strengths and are collaborating to pen a tale which is genuinely original and entertaining while not seeped in stereotypes or annoyingly formulaic characters but breathtakingly drawn as well.
The supernatural portion of the story has me a bit confused so far and I don't think it's been translated into english terribly well, but if you fill in the blanks on your own during your second read, it has the makings of a nice little historical drama/romance.
I'm commenting mostly because no one else has and I think it's because this series so far is only 4 chapters long but it's enough to peak your interest! There's the mystery of the scales that show up that may be a part of a curse?
I dunno, I wish that this was a longer series because it has so much potential.
