I definitely don't like the main characters in this author's stories. I always prefer the secondary male character.

Psychologically very nuanced, but didn't impress me too much

I somehow expected more out of this, hence the other reviews, but it was good. The psychological dimension was intense, but lacking IMHO. I think this would have benefited from a more diverse look on the characters, both the brother and the seme. The uke as a char was in some part a cliche yoi uke, a damaged individual with a shitty home life. I really want to read a yaoi where the uke isn't in this category, but from an okay background and more than a pretty boy who uses his body and face for manipulation. It's not the fault of this manhwa per se, but this stereotype is getting old soon. The seme wasn't developed enough, and I never felt the depth of his despair and his hatred, and this is an omission indeed. So this manhwa somehow remains... Dry. Not quite interesting. Too bad, since as other reviewers noted, so many symbolism and depth are here. But still more than worth the read!

The story , characters, metaphor,... Everything was amazing.
I seriously hated that woojin , he was exactly the same as his disgusting mother. He basically killed his friend twice and never bother to change his way of living, always wanted to use others so he can live easily, he only deserves a manipulative control freak like his stepbrother, fvck him and his mother.

One of the best mangas I've seen

I was pleasantly surprised with this manga, it actually is now one of my favorites. The first plot twist when it was pointed that he was his first love and then revealed that he was the beggar. That really impressed me, made me really respect the author. Of course it was then revealed he was indeed the childhood boyfriend, but it seems the author initially wanted to keep the beggar twist, but changed it, well, for me it was then double twist, I felt 'wow, the author fooled me twice, he/she's good'. Anyway, I really recommend this manga, twisted and amazing!!!
