Unlike many FLs in this genre she not only recognized what she was doing but actually thought of correcting herself...except she didn't. This has to be one of her worst character traits. Sure, a lot of other FLs also do this especially if they have prior knowledge of events and people and so on but I think this is the most blatant instances of this I've yet seen in manhwa/romance novels.

How very calculating of her! (Deliberately?) Sabotaging herself so she might have a semi plausible excuse to give to herself for not following through on the apology. I...uh...also applaud her self preservation instincts being fully functional, and are up and running in real-time
