Businessman Aoe is trying to leave so his student lover can study. But that is proving to be difficult.
Oneshot (Complete)

My my, how could I not love this one-shot when it's entirely about one of my favourite couples from the main series. I'll never get tired of reading about these two, especially when they're being so sweet and lovey-dovey like this. It's also nice to know that for both characters, each of whom had their own past, their lives are slowly changing for the better because they now have each other by their sides. And sensei's art has also improved significantly as well. Fans of Love mode should definitely read this.
The most delicious present for the Aoe x Naoya fans. Besides the fact that Shimizu Yuki-sensei's drawing style gor infinitely better, the way we get an additional insight into the protagonists' relationship is absolutely delightful. Still adore the manga and the characters after so many yeas.
This oneshot seems to be based on the series Love Mode (or vice versa) by the same mangaka. However, the situation between Naoya and Aoe in this one doesn't seem to mesh with the series. Also, the art is very different from Love Mode. Instead of the weirdly angular and out of proportion heads (not to mention eyebrows!), the characters in Lovers' Mode look more like normal human beings. Very odd, but this was still an enjoyable oneshot.
