The maker in this manga, for me, was Shoutarou, the droopy-eyed old man. I loooved his character design. Masumi was also enjoyable, but the height-difference in certain frames weirded me out at times. This manga catered perfectly to my preference for nurture type relationships, so if you're into that, don't hesitate to read.

Love

Incredible! This is one of the best consensual yaoi stories I have ever read; all the characters--male and female--were multi-dimensional and burst from the page. They had families, insecurities, and true devotion. The plot was full of twist and turns and well planned out beginning to end. The message of embracing and recognizing the many types of love based on the person, not anything unimportant like age or gender, was delicately and carefully delivered.

It wasn't so sweet that it was saccharine, either! Both the two protagonists were so utterly virginal and nervous and yet mature at the same time--it was a fascinating interplay. Their nervousness only enhanced the tension of the scene as their desire for one another developed.

Sensei's daughter and her love were also a really interesting addition. I liked that the daughter's relationship with her lover wasn't clichéd.

What really shines through is love. There is so much crafted poetic telling of what love is in its many forms (father-daughter, daughter-father, friend-friend, lover-lover, etc). It was a heart warming tale full of awesome pacing and tenderness. The angst and frustration levels were just right; nothing ever went perfectly, but it was perfect in its imperfection! Just like life.

The art was a treat! It was bright and clear with sharp lines and only essential background detail. The balance of white space was very aesthetically pleasing and smooth to read. The narration bubbles were all strangely angular, but it made for a precise-look that balanced well with the extremely pronounced, multi-faceted levels of relationship intensive scenes.

Here you have an uke who is old enough to be the seme's father! But somehow it's not gross. In fact, it's a really charming story about a clumsy, hesitant relationship.

The art was fantastic! This was my fave title to date by Itsuki senesi. I fell in with both characters. They're story was sweet and touching. I truly enjoyed reading every page.

There was a delightful surpirse with Shiraishi's daughter...very cute :3

I also loved the fact that the Shiraishi was the uke...I enjoy reading about couples like that. ;D

Although I am not too big of a fan of Itsuki-sensei's works, I found this story to be highly enjoyable. It's a little bit different.. the drawings, the characters, the plot, and such.. (i supposed because of a mature character as opposed to her usual shota characters), but I thought it was different for the better. I would definitely definitely recommend this!

It is a very sweet story, both the characters are cute and hurting and they finally come together in the most moving way.
Masumi's eyes are so expressive you can read all of his feelings in them, and you'll end up falling in love with him for this!
Go Masumi, we're all with you!

The art is gorgeous but sometimes the face of some characters are out of proportion and didn't look the same as the start. Anyways the story kinda deep but not all angsty. haha i didn't expect what happen in chapter 4 and the ending was funny LOL

Pretty cute.
The art is really pretty as usuall from Itsuki kaname's works (especially the newer ones).
The story nice, a pleasent change from her usuall "forced" plots.
And with an older guy. This story is a different type from what this mangaka usually does.
I like it.
It's also nice that DP released 3 chapters at once.

Edit:
Well, some of that I didn't see coming, but it was so cute and unexpected.
Spoiler (highlight to view)
Risaki chan's love++
.
And the end of chapter 4 was hilarious. Anyways, I quite like this.
The art is so beautifull...
