Imagine this:
A wild boy from the countryside transfers into a high school in the city. He was raised in the mountains, trains like a beast, is a bit of a naive but lovable idiot, and is involved in some dangerous, fantastical afterschool activities. (Dangerous as in he goes around dealing out some violent and bloody beatdowns to non-human creatures.)
A beautiful girl in his class catches his attenion, even though she's initially rude and cold. She is very pretty, but uninterested. Beautiful girl gets called out by a group of jealous schoolmates though, and almost gets seriously injured. Wild boy MC comes flying in to the rescue just in time.
Cue romance subplot as MC begins journey of action/adventure/growth.
Seems like a run of the mill school-life shounen fantasy, right? Well, now flip the genders.MC is still ridiculously strong and flying in to save the Aloof Beauty, but MC is female while Beauty is a pretty boy.
The art got borderline creepy with the way the author was depicting the body of the underage lead, but some comments on the original chapters led to the artist changing his style a tiny bit to be less fanservice-y.
Still haven't even reached chapter 10 yet, but I'm really enjoying how the female lead has been portrayed thus far. Her strength and shounen hero-like mentality is great, and entertaining.
