Everything that happens after she went to the countryside is happening with someone else's actions and words. Problems keep coming up and she is NOT the one who finds the solution. She baaaarely contributes to the discussion to find the solutions. The ML and Aloise figures it all out for her before she could say more than a few words.
Ah, Alois. Her butler/secretary/chamberlain is the real Main Character/MVP. He's got all the answers. He puts all the plans into action. His backup plans have backup plans. The "Saintess" and "crown prince" messed with the wrong servant when they targeted him.
FL is too concerned about her role as the head of the territory to get her head out of her ass. She never finds her spine again...well, as of ch 53. I had to drop this because she's so fucking annoying and clueless about everything.
She even notes how uneducated and unprepared she is to competently manage her territory but does she do something about it? No. Does she even bother to ask Aloise, whose professionalism she explicitly compared to her own naive self, to educate her? No.
Meanwhile, Aloise who is a bonafide commoner, just bluntly and concisely spits facts into "Saintess" and "crown prince"'s face about what shit people, shit nobles/elites, shit morals and shit role models they are. Was he threatened with death for it? Oh, yeah. Doesn't stop him though.
FL still doesn’t learn from her underling's exceptional bravery. At all.
At this point I would follow Aloise into Hell because he'd make it into a treasure hunting day trip with minimal danger involved, that's how meticulous he is. Every villainess should have an Aloise...but then they'll never get to do anything for themselves nor be very interesting.
My 3/10 is solely for Aloise's existence. He deserves to be the MC of his own comic.
