Description

I really liked it overall. I liked their friendship, I'm really glad there wasn't any romance on either side to complicate things. I wish there had been a few more chapters showing how the 2 of them progressed from how they were in highschool to being friends in present day. It's amazing they became friends at all considering their past. But overall it was quite sweet (even though the antagonist was odd and, like there's so many other ways he could've dealt with the situation).

Look at Me initially caught my attention because it stood out from other Lezhin series.
The main character is unorthodox, the art style is monochrome, and there is little to no romance. Quite refreshing. Instead of wrangling through a string of misunderstandings and rom-com cliches, I could just peek into the lives of Lily and Nino to rewind after a long day.
Plot burns slowly at the beginning, but the twists are nicely placed. My only complaint is that the ending is too fast-paced and lacks closure.

Eugene leaves without resolving past grievances with Lily and Nino? He doesn't move on from Alice's death? What happened to his wife? And what about that curly-haired girl who wanted to get set up with Nino? At least Lily and Nino grew closer...
