Hit or miss, but really, blah or miss

This is like The Far Side, except if it took 4 or 5 pages to tell what could be done in 4-5 panels, and if half of the comics were Cow Tools. While some of the chapters have a humorous idea underlying them, the delivery is relatively long-winded for concepts that elicit a chuckle at most, like a car wetting itself in fear.

But you also have an overwhelming number of strips where the point isn't even clearly communicated, leaving you with that same ".....what?" infamously evoked by Cow Tools, or maybe more appropriately, Andy Warhol's Campbell's Soup Cans, making you question the very artistic intent of the work, and whether it's you or the author that is a blithering idiot.
