I enjoyed this more than I thought! Although I absolutely adore 9 Banme no Musashi by the same mangaka, her other mangas weren't really my type. I didn't really expect much from this one either.
Why? Well, I don't know. Perhaps the main reason is I like the eldest of the siblings, and he kinda looks like Musashi too~ <3 lol. Long hair guys are totally my weak point.
The art is as expected gorgeous, although I did have quite the time following the dialogs. Perhaps it's because I'm more used to reading in English, and what I read was in Chinese. Too much text for my liking, but if I had that bit more patience and payed attention to what it says, it's not confusing at all. Well, only says how interesting the manga is, kept wanting to flip the page and know what's next ><.
It was way too short though, the idea and execution was great, the art was nice, but... the plot falls behind. Perhaps because it was too rushed, there never really was a main point. I don't want to give too much spoilers, but I can say that the climax (if there was one...) was weak. Too weak. I found this the same in her other series Musashi, however for that one the length of the manga made up for it. I feel if the manga is long enough, episodic style will fit alot better.
Well, it was a far way off from being in my favs unlike Musashi, but definitely one of those must reads. Worth the time to finish only 2 volumes.
