Disappointing developments

I really liked the interesting angle this story took to begin with. You've got an MC who thought he was a beta, because actually he's got a special constitution where he can't sense pheromones. You've also got a crown prince who doesn't react to omega pheromones who is looking for his crown princess.

Possible spoilers ahead

It transpires that the crown prince is the only alpha whose pheromones the MC could sense as a child, and visa versa, so it was determined that their union was fate.
Only, fast forward to the modern day and this unique constitution is disposed of and the MC just becomes a normal omega who can sense everybody's pheromones and even gets turned on by them. This is how every boring alpha and omega story is - why wouldn't you roll with the initial dynamic where they only respond to each other? What's special about their union now?
It took something away from the story if you ask me.

This is basically Goong but if it was omegaverse BL and the crown prince was a simp instead of an asshole.
A little cheesy but they're both cute and the art is pretty, so it's an enjoyable read (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧
