Stylistically, this work reminds me of the backgrounds in Asano Inio's manga, with the character designs bringing to mind the works of Junko Mizuno. It's beautiful aesthetically, but that's probably subjective. One thing for sure is that it has a lot of detail and has been crafted with love.
The story is meaningful and has things to say to the right audience. It mainly deals with isolation, and I really appreciate the contemporary spin, including social media, streaming, and a pro (I assume?) video game player. It targets young adults.
I read it twice, and though it resonated with me, I can't say I understood everything, mainly due to possible mistranslation or not having experienced the same kind of things the main character goes through.
It deals with accepting and making peace with yourself before having healthy relationships with others.
All in all, a really nice work.
