Description

The protagonist, an egocentric man who's led a successful life as the CEO of a company in modern society is murdered and reborn as a beautiful lady named Paril Hall Mcgryued from a noble family in a fantasy world. Once he wakes up, (now in the body of Paril,) he finds out that he's now in the body of an "inferior being" and that all his wealth, achievements and successful life have vanished. Therefore, he decides to rebuild everything from scratch and make it to the "top of the pyramid" in this parallel world.

If you ever see the name "LIM Dall-Young", run as fast as you can from whatever stuff he's making. He's infamous for never finishing manga/manhwa or just not knowing how to end a series. As you can see, this is actually his second attempt, and he's still pulling his usual shenanigans.

A Review on how I felt it was

This series actually has a really good start. Its a classic Mc gets isekai into a duke's daughter series. To me the first arc was really well done, It has a great antagonist and the Mc has a clear motive. In this first arc the Mc uses his intelligence and wit to out move the antagonist. The only problem though is that the author seem to forgotten about the first arc because the second arc just gets rid of the whole concept. Instead of advancing the plot forward the author makes it so that the Mc needs magic to advance. This is honestly a terrible mistake. After making our Mc win by using his intellect it would make a lot more sence for him to somehow figure out how to win over magic using it. Instead the author chose to send our Mc to school where he gets bullied. Completely erasing who our Mc was and how he handled situations. He is not at all smart in this arc and some reason the author is trying to push some romance in and it really ain't it.

I haven't been able to read the last few chapters I got to around 65 but a scanlation group didn't translate it right so I stopped. But from what other comments I read it seems the Mc just forgives the bullys and acts like nothing ever happened. This whole school arc was a mistake and honestly just destroyed the series for me so I will drop it. From what I gathered from other comments is that this artist always puts stuff on hiatus anyway so I recommend reading the first arc and then immediately dropping it and acting like the story just cuts off there.

Reading this was torture

The only good thing about our MC is her pride and her shounen spirit of never giving up. You start with a typical noble drama then it jumped to high school drama and bullying. We see our MC getting her self bullied and kicked around. They won once but it really doesn't feel good and it doesn't make up for all the time they got humiliated and bullied.

Clearly my memory isn't the best, as I thought the original story had over 50 chapters when the artist quit and the author was forced to find a new one. At least, that's what I remember of the situation and the translator note. In reality, it only had 27 chapters. I also don't fully remember what happened to the artist—I just know there was an issue and a new artist was given the job.

This version was—and I don't know why since the story remained the same—a retelling. Worse yet, the quality of the art dropped in the following ways:

The clothing was less appealing and suited some of the themes in the story less.
The posing and composition of frames are all lesser versions of the original.

The art actually bugged me enough that I stopped reading this after the first few chapters were translated since it kept reminding me of how inferior it was (in comparison; on its own it's decent) to the original and the story just wasn't good enough for me to care.

Unfortunately, I don't remember enough of this story to give it a fair rating.

IF you're going to read this story, I'd say go for the original and save yourself time while also getting the better art and same story before the novelty wears off.

I didn't start reading this series when I saw who the author was.
If you don't know. This author has a reputation of putting his series on infinite hiatus.

The previous version of this story was cancelled in favor of this one.
But this one is on infinite hiatus in favor of an other series.

So he managed to basically cancel a story twice.

Seriously everyone save for his brainwashed fans or people completely new to manhwa/manga know of his horrible reputation. Don't read this series, show scanlators/publishers that you won't consume rubbish products so they can focus their efforts elsewhere.
