It's primarily a dramatic romance, with a an omegaverse element that is actually a supernatural/fantasy element. The ABO is related to a very small percentage of the population and involves supernatural power and beings and is not that well knows. I've read until chapter 65 and I am in awe at how good the narrative and the pace of the story is. The author is quite the talented storyteller (and artist) and it's shocking for me that more people are not reading this manga.
I've been reading yaoi for 15+ years now and this one is one of my top 10, for sure.

it doesn't deviate a lot from the kdrama different classes storyline but just has the added twist of a yin and yang (omegaverse) magic system. the art is pretty and the story progresses with lots of frustrating developments just like normal kdramas. not a reccomended read unless that specific formula of historical kdramas with BL overtones are favored.
