I liked the main characters, their quest, their struggles, and most of the adventure up to the end of the series.
But, for my tastes, the ending was a dud: too ambiguous, too many things unresolved, too much left up in the air just as I thought everything was about to be done and over with.
I did enjoy reading this, but would have liked it a lot more with a more satisfying ending.
