First! You must read the Re-Take prequel to this, otherwise you probably won't get it.
Just like the prequel, this manga is brilliant and exceptionally moving. IIRC, this sequel does not contain adult material like the prequel so if you're a bit unhappy about that kind of thing, rest asured, this is pure exceptional storyline.
Having said that, although the prequel has adult content, it is only a small part in the context of the story and adds to the story rather than detracts.

This, along with Re-take, is an awesome doujinshi - possibly the best doujinshi I've read so far. The story really adds on well to Evangelion, and the art is really similar to the original characters so that there won't be any problems in the art category. A definite must read for Evangelion fans out there - even the non hardcore ones. A very good read indeed.
Just as good as 'Re-take'!

I really don't know where to begin to describe how dumbfounded I felt as I read this manga. It simply is such an amazing add-on to the Evangelion series that even its 'adult' content can be called nothing short of beautiful. This story adds so much depth and richness to every character and pushing them to their limits, and even at its core lies messages that might have been lost amongst excessive theory and strive thats been centered around Evangelion. I think this manga does it's counterpart(s) great justice and I think it can even fair well, even as a stand-alone, for its enormous character development, psycological mind torture and unpredictability tops that of what I've seen in entire seasons of anime. Just to cut it short (as there is so much to say about this manga) I hope that everyone, seriously, gets a chance to read this, and if they have not viewed the Evangelion series to begin with, the questions that will arise from this will surely make them curious... =3 All in all, I recommend this manga to everyone who can understand the depth of what each person is truly looking for... that is, belonging. - I apologize if I have accidentally stereotyped, misinterpreted this manga, or insulted any of the die-hard Evangelion fans out there =P-
