Man this manga has rookie vibes all over it, and what do you know it's the mangaka's debut work after all. I don't think the story is bad per se even if it's not very original, I just wish the over abundance of melodrama and cheesy cliches had been much toned down, and a more nuanced approach to the plot also would've gone a much longer way. And this is a personal preference but I'm not terribly fond of the way characters are drawn when they're supposed to be in anguish or suffering (which is all the time in this manga), if I have to be honest.
