Description

Other than my bitching below about FL's idiotic attitude towards the ghosts I actually really like how the family dynamics plays out in this story.

Yes, Daddy Duke is pretty shitty but this is one of those few stories where it's realistic. The talented older kid simply overshadowed the quieter but just as talented younger kids. The Duke's mistakes was not being an attentive parent to all of his children.

Yes, FL's full blooded brother and she do NOT have the Duke's blood. They really are commoners. But the Duke has never held that against them. If anything, when shown from the Duke and the eldest's POV, they were awkwardly struggling to get closer with FL and her brother.

ALSO, the FL and ML's relationship actually starts in an understandable way. He doesn't just sudden become fascinated and find her ✨️interesting ✨️. That's such a major plus.

Aaaaand I'm sorry...actually, you know what? I'm not. Holy shit, this dumb bi...argh, no. NO. That's insulting female dogs.

She knows, and has had the experience over and over and over that ghosts are keeper of secrets. She asks the ghosts how to get ahead for a few chapters but starting in ch 11 she becomes obstinate about the ghost's help or helping ghosts, cutting herself off from invaluable information.

If anything the ghosts have to get into her face, sometimes quite literally, to point-blank tell this idiot that they have ways to help her.

She actively tells the ghosts NOT to bother her while knowing they are her cheat skill. Her life would be an infinite amount of times better if she just talked to the ghosts around her.

The worst part? It's not like she has to tell anyone else that she talks to ghosts. So her stupid justification of not wanting to talk to them because if people knew they'd call her a freak.

Like, sure, as a kid she blabbered to everyone that she did used to talk to ghosts but as she grew older she could have said she was talking to imaginary friends. Pretty much anyone would understand that.

So making a big deal out of this shit is so, so, so goddamn stupid!

Just...ugh..."smart" where?!??? Am I reading a completely different manhwa from all the other reviewers?

Otherwise, I actually adore how selfish and practical she is. If only she was smart about her abilities then she'd be my perfect FL.

Started off promising with a smart FL. Then goes down in recent chapters. Everything she went through, everything she learned, out the window in favor of drama clichés for more content.

FL has turned into a moron now that just throws herself into traps with no plans or backup so she can either be saved by MLs (cause we honestly forget they are a thing) or demonstrate how independent she is in case the readers forgot. Any respect she gained vanishes with these scenarios.

Most of the MLs were mysterious with their own back story. But now that we know about them, they fade into the background with their lacking personalities with an overpowering FL. It's great that she can carry the story without them but when they actually show up, they feel like mob characters more than anything. You forget they are main characters. Their fathers have had more of a presence than their son MLs 🤣

Omg I really loved this! The storyline is so good and the female main character is absolutely amazing. She's so smart, funny and cool. The art is beautiful too. And the side of mystery adds the perfect touch.
