This certainly took effort on my part to finish, it was like running uphill while carrying a boulder at times. Not boring, but a challenge to complete. I wouldn't say the story is particularly bad, I can't quite put my finger on the actual issue with this story, but I'll try to explain.

Story: The story doesn't waste your time with unnecessary characters or side quest, its for the most part straightforward in its telling of the story. It even attempts to offer backstories to characters.It struggles a bit with pacing and building up. For example a major event that is critical to the story is supposed to happen, but we the viewer are never informed of it until its happening. This happens often. My guess is the author wants us to learn with the MC, but the way the story is told doesn't feel like you are learning with the MC as it all just ends up feeling like the author is creating a bunch of "conveniences" to happen.

Characters: It is easy to understand the roles every character is supposed to play and the author does not waste your time with a waste of useless background characters. Every character gets a little background tossed at you, but many relationships (with the exception of Abel) lack decent flushing out.

Recommendation: I wouldn't tell people to read this, but I'm not warning anyone to steer clear of it either. Its at best ok and at worst meh. It isn't something I would read again though.

I was interested in the concept at first, and I was enjoying this until the last two chapters, everything that could happen does happen and it suddenly ends. Part of why I started was to get some cute scenes between the demon lord and the warrior, which I got. At the end. It has a bad and sudden end that I feel really disappointed by.
