Description

A fearless Yakuza named Sudou decides to leave his life of crime when he finds out his clan is disbanding. However, his strong sense of justice and huge tattoos intefere with this goal, and he struggles to keep any job he finds.
That is, until an ex-underling gives him the idea to start writing manga.
After becoming a big hit on social media, a company scouts him, and he... somehow ends up working in the BL department?!
Because this ex-Yakuza doesn't know the first thing about BL, a cool-headed, sadistic editor starts to coach him — thus beginning a tough, hands-on training regime...

Bland, kind of wastes the premise

I figured this would be bland because it looks like just another of the same old BL plot with a wacky skin, but it's even more boring than I expected. The fact that he's ex-yakuza is barely relevant to the plot. And the seme is very boring. He's the emotionless robotic type, which I'm usually fine with, but it never goes beyond that. There's no indication of his feelings beyond some basic jealousy. He has no personality. All of that would be fine if the smut was good, but it's....bland. Still, the manga is readable and the art is nice. Won't re-read, though.
