I think I am the only one in the comment section that actually likes all 5 books. Sure I found it strange it went in a completely different direction from vol.1, but I still loved it all. Wish the series was actually alittle longer.

First arc was good

What should say... This was one of my first manhwa so I did search it up on wikipedia, and so, O knew the whole thing was two arcs. The first arc was great. It was funny. The entire concept was ridiculous.

My advice? Read the first volume and ignore the rest of it.

Note: I rated the first arc five out of five and the second three out of five and then took a point off for the confusion it causes.

Childhood manga!

Haha, it's kind of strange that my childhood manga is so romance and violence heavy. But I can remember reading this a long time ago when I was all of ten years old.
Anyways, I really enjoyed the first volume. The characters interacted really well. I disliked the rest of the series, as volumes 2-5 focus on a new set of main characters. They were cute, but I wanted more of the initial main characters. I really enjoyed the first volume's premise, and the second through fifth volume ruined it for me. Anyways, the art's nice throughout. The plot's subpar. The characters are decent.
Overall, I think most of my biased affection for this series comes from my childhood memories (so it's not fair for me to read it). I recommend treating the series as 2 separate series with similar characters. It will help you enjoy Kill Me Kiss Me a lot more.

Kill me Kiss me

The story that develops in the first volume is a completely different story than the one in volumes 2 to 5. If you didn't expect this then it comes as a shock and it may make you dislike the manhwa.

While I was reading volumes 2 to 5 I expected the story to go back (at some point) to the first three main characters and it never did. This is why I wasn't really paying a lot of attention to the story that was actually happening and only got to like it at the end of volume 5. Then I realized the second story on its own was nice and pretty well developed.

If you read the two arcs as completely differents things you would probably like both stories but since the second story comes as a shock most people don't like it. Of course, I liked the idea of the first story a lot more than the second, but the second is not bad at all.

Its been awhile since I read this. But I remember that vol one was very good but then 2 though 5 was like a completely different story. I felt that the artist really needed to stay with the first idea in volume one. I remember really liking the art and it was a fun read.

Loved the first arc only

It seems that this is the majority of the opinion on this manga, and I am no exception. Although I liked both pairings, Tae and Ga-Wun is definitely the more interesting pair, and the mangaka should have extended their story.

I devoured the first volume, and immediately ordered the rest from amazon.
Boy was I disappointed. I was anticipating the story between the two characters to continue, but it was about a completely different girl!
It was still good, but NOT what I had anticipated or wanted.
I was sad. sad

Yep... I got hooked because of the first volume. I wanted more of the romance between the "main female" and the tough guy. I thought it'd focus on them but they suddenly became nearly non-existant side characters from volumes 2-5.
Volumes 2 - 5 focused on her brother and some delusional girl and I didn't really like it but I read it all anyway.

So... I'd give a high rating for the first volume but that high rating is lowered by the rest of the manhwa. The 2nd arc was ok.. but I dunno. It's so different from the first volume that I really had no interest. I kept wondering where the people from the first volume went ):
Volumes 2 thru 5 would've been better off as a different work, in my opinion.
I liked the artwork~
