Description

Life isn’t sweet... Asaoka Yuuri, a senior in university, has failed for the 49th time in job hunting. During an exam at the 50th company, which should be a commemoration for her, she came to know Manabe Ryouji, a famous guy at her university. The first impression was horrible. I didn't think I'd be interested in this when I glanced at the description, but I found it a surprisingly good read. Manabe and Yuuri was a really adorable couple, and I liked the repeating symbol of the bullet train that was used throughout the story. There's nothing better than well-fleshed out characters and a fully developed story that is neatly tied up at the end, and this is one of those. Skuukatsu!! leaves you satisfied and touched at the determination and enthusiasm Yuuri holds for her job; the message it has for everyone as job-seekers or those worried about their futures after graduation is particularly meaningful. Lovely read, don't miss it!

Sweet story but mediocre at best, but it's still a sweet read. Plot is simply, but enough to be interesting. Characters are believable and emotions are not exaggerated which is really refreshing! especially if you have read many shoujos with overly emotional characters.

A very cute and good series. I especially like the development of Yuuri from an underconfident and weak character to someone so much stronger. It was great to follow her as she continued to work hard to fulfill her dreams.

Also, Manabe-kun was just so, so cute! All of his expressions were breath taking and makes me wish that guys like him really existed. He had his own embarrassed, vulnerable expressions rather than being that one main character who's always so calm and always so tough. Because of this, he seemed much more real to me.

Very good series. I've added this one to my favorites.

Although it's josei, it kinda has the shoujo feel to it. It's light, realistic, and different and the characters aren't that childish. Plus, you learn stuff about the real world (like jobs, college). The art is beautiful too!

Too bad it's only two volumes. I would have loved seeing more character development and it felt kind of lacking. (I wanted to know more about Manabe and his ex)

This manga almost has all the qualities that I'm looking for! I want more from this mangaka! Believe it or not, this is so far my favorite romance manga!

I'm reading this series' summaries for a while now, and it's just a good story and the art work is 5*...It's original and doesn't have those stubborn clichés that most manga usually have... I love it and recommend it! 😀

Is is a story I only need to read once. The emotions were good, the romantic relationship of the two main characters was intriguing, there was growth and difficulties. It has it all for the main character the girl. It was just good, in a way. There should have been more growth for other characters as well as more backstory but for what it was like I said it was good it was meant to show the life of a girl going though college trying to make a living coincidently finding love. The story with stay as read.

It's short, it's sweet and it's lovely. I really liked this short shoujo manga... sometimes I thought the way in which the main character behaved could be related more with a 15 year old than with someone who had already finished her studies and moved on to job hunting, but some people have difficulties with coping with changes so it's believable.

How the relationship between the two main characters develops is really nice and sweet and shows how life can give you good things if you are willing to work hard enough. ^^

A really sweet short read

As a man there are few Shoujou/Josei that I actually enjoy reading. This is one of those few rare ones. The drawings are very nice and the characters have uniquely captivating personalities. It was a short but sweet read, and I'll be sure to track the author's other works.

Defenetly worth reading, even if your not into Shoujou/Josei.

I love how Yuuri change from a weak and crying girl to a strong woman who wants to gets the job will full of will and ENERGY. And Ryouji was so so cunning and cute and smart and... Sorry I got lost. @_@' I really recommend this manga. The plot and the character was soo sweet!

The story is nice and has just the right amount of cuteness that is not annoying or insipid. I really did like all of the characters. Usually, I like some more romantic tension in a story but this was okay. The art is nice and the story was not too long. I think the fact that the story is only 2 volumes makes it okay that it is not very complex. I rate it a 6/10
