The art style doesn't suit a story that is supposed to be darkly sensual and filled with sexual tension. The ML is supposed to be mesmerizingly hot. The one I'm seeing is definitely not that.
A lot of background about the character she woke up in was left out. That woman was insane and killed a lot of people. Many of whom were sinners, but still. She viewed sleeping with Zahid as a conquest. She targeted him, seduced him with drugs, and she died horribly for it. Her death was not viewed as a tragedy, given how brutal she was known to be.
This adaptation took out all the emotion and instead jumps, sometimes jarringly, from scene to scene. Sorry, but just copying the dialog in a scene doesn't mean you are staying true to the story and it certainly doesn't make it feel alive.
Example 1...
Manhwa: A scene suddenly starts with MC traveling in a carriage right when it gets ambushed. We don't know why she's there or anything leading up to the scene.
Novel: MC hadn't been able to leave the castle so when an opportunity to visit the city on her own comes, she grabs it. The carriage driver suggests a place to check out and she agrees. Soon she starts to notice that there are less people around and the buildings are looking more and more shabby. Something doesn't seem right. There's a commotion and sounds of fighting. It's an ambush.
Example 2...
Manhwa: It's their wedding night and she's waiting in the bedroom. Somehow her foot is injured and bleeding. No explanation as to how or when. Zahid enters and smells the blood.
Novel: She had been missing her periods due to poor nutrition, but now that she's been fed properly, she gets her period unexpectedly on the night of their wedding. There's nothing she can do to stop a period. Zahid enters the bedroom and smells blood.
