At least Korean titles never lie.
I'm trying so hard to get to the point where he starts appreciating his teammates and not act so uppity. It's grating.
I'm only 7 chapters in and it's such a slog.
MC claims he's doing everything for the band but all he does is act selfishly. When the system dings him for it he doubles down, but the narrative tries to claim he improved. It's kind of impressive how arrogant he has with nothing to his name.
It took a completely different group from a completely different music genre to make him have a teeny tiny slice of self reflection on how he treats his own group. It's kind of wild that he managed to get to his age and not have any social or emotional intelligence.
Also, the fan who promoted the song that MC wrote to #1 is a shockingly shallow bitch. The first we see of her is her complaining about her favorite idols growing old. She then wanders into the living room where she sees a member of MC's band on tv known for their looks and immediately starts simping, having found new and fresh meat to enjoy.
If she's supposed to be an audience surrogate then the writers failed HARD to make her relatable.
Gross.
LMFAO the other band members are finally fighting back. I love the "useless", pretty one the most. He's so petty.
I'm staying just to read about the other boys.
EDIT: Damn, 31 chapters in and MC is still a grade A asshole. Respect.
At the same time I have to drop. The rest of the boys are no longer interesting enough to make up for how annoying the MC is.
